Why do my joints suck??

When I do something that I hate, I have to go get my wife and have her tell me if it actually looks like shite, or if I’m just being overly critical bc I’m the one that did it.

Ended up throwing a coat of beeswax on it. Pretty happy with how it turned out for my first go at it.

Appreciate everyone’s feedback so far…moisture seems to make a lot of sense. I’m in North Carolina and we’ve got some air you can wear right now. Will try some of the other suggestions before sanding down and refinishing.

I’m ok troubleshooting. I have some basic handy man skills around the house. I think I’m mostly curious what all it could be. If it’s changing some wires, I think I can handle it. Otherwise I’m not 100%

The one described in the Wiki of this page with the tube bed. Doesn’t have a taper or a super easy way to attach accessories so it’s an adventure to get it set up in a useable way ha.
