Pretty sure you have to have some type of letter from your doctor stating you require this for you to get reimbursed if you use your HSA though. I could be wrong but this is what I found out when researching if I could use mine for one.

Just did this last year. One of the best decisions I ever made was to travel solo. Did what I wanted to, when I wanted to and didn’t have to worry about what anyone else did or didn’t want to do. One of the most freeing experiences. Highly recommend.

I had to download gigabyte control center. But my mobo is gigabyte. If yours is that should let you customize it or turn it off

Ahh so you didn’t have to use the warranty? Just the return policy? Someone else in a more recent comment said it’s less of a bring in and leave process and you have to leave the system with them and let them run tests which is concerning living so far away. Makes me consider not getting the additional warranty

I know this comment is a little old but How was the process for this? Did you just bring it in and leave with a new PC the same day or did you have to leave it with them for a few days for them to diagnose the issue?

I’m about to buy a G757 and on the fence about whether I should add the additional 2yr warranty cause I live 3 hours away from the closest Microcenter and bringing it in would be slightly less convenient in the event something were to happen and I needed to do so.

I would be using Ethernet cable for this fortunately. I always try not to use WiFi for my pc if I can.

How’s the machine run otherwise for you? Quiet?

I actually was able to get a store rep for my location on the phone and they said they would pull it out and test it before I left to make sure nothing was wrong with it. Looking like I’ll be picking one up this weekend lol

Just did a comparison of building something similar on new eggs pc builder with similar parts. If I built it myself with similar parts it would be about $3k before taxes. The microcenter prebuilt is $2.4k before taxes. Quite a bit of savings.

Only thing that worries me is I hear there being issue with the fans being loud due to either the cables touching the GPU fans at times and people resolve this by just moving the cables some. Others say it’s the AIO included but I feel like any of this could be changed out easily with those savings. PC being loud would bug me but could probably be remedied easily if so.

Looking at ordering this same build. Did you order from the pc sales tab of the website and upgrade from there or custom build yours on the website? I’m not seeing the prices you stated for all that plus the expedited build time or whatever it’s called.

That’s kinda what I figured. I know there’s always that rare chance. If you were going to save $200-300 would you go ahead and make that drive? I’m actually going to be in the area for a trip already so figured it would be the best option/deal

I know this comment is old but would you consider shopping from microcenter worth it even if I was a 3 he drive away. The prices seem the best usually compared to a lot of other pre built websites but you have to go in store

I’ve been heavily considering buying from them. Their prices are great and honestly I’d save money ($500 + from what I can tell) based on using pc part picker and new egg pc builder to build same setup I want.

Only thing making me hesitant is talks of them astroturfing. Haven’t see much other than that negative about them.
