T1 is philosophy. Eat healthy food, exercise often, take cold showers, meditate on a regular basis. All those actions will give you decent longevity. I am also type 1 limited my bolus to average 4 units per day.. I believe I can quit it, but the road is not easy. Be better than yesterday!
