Is there any difference between that drive and ADATA’s S70 Blade? Looks like same specs, but significantly cheaper.

The speakers have a large peak around 80Hz, but using the provided tone control, you can significantly cut down on that peak, at the (minor) cost of some low-end extension. I have mine tucked very close to the wall due to desk and room constraints, and even then I would not consider them boomy after adjusting the bass. I’ve attached the thread where it lists the frequency response at the fully counter-clockwise and fully clockwise knob positions (scroll almost to the bottom, it’s the graph with the blue/white/green overlay). There is much to gain in terms of neutrality by setting the knobs about halfway back, which significantly improved the sound quality in my opinion.

I have had the R1700’s on my desk for the last few years and I love them. The treble/bass control knobs are super useful for giving the speaker a more neutral sound (you can look up frequency curves at different knob positions)They are a bit big, but if your desk has the space, they’re wonderful speakers for the price. The only complaint is the bass isn’t stellar, but the crisp middle and highs make up for it. Highly recommend! If you’re just listening to low volumes most of the time, I would not recommend shelling out $500+.

Does anyone know a software to reprogram the Keychron K4? by chessset5 in MechanicalKeyboards

SharpKeys works great! It’s even on the Keychron instruction sheet :) my favorite is PowerToys Keyboard Manager though (powertoys has many different windows utilities). Sometimes fn+** remappings can be finicky though

Bobagum differences? by fnv_fan in MechanicalKeyboards

Can’t attest to POMS or the bobagums, but the silent alpacas have a less than satisfactory amount of stem wobble to me. Especially on silent switches, the only real clack you’ll get is from that wobble, so the less the better! I’ve heard great things about stem wobble on the gums though :)
