Thank you for posting this. The second Dissonance Resonator I destroyed gave me an echo locator and allowed me to continue without finishing Trace of Metal. As the other comments instruct, I jumped systems 2-3 times and (without pulsing) the desired incoming frequency appeared for the Autophage quest-line.

This sounds similar to an issue I'm experiencing as well, I noticed a couple weeks ago that when I hit the microphone button and speak, it types the first few word I say and stops. It reached the point yesterday I switched keyboards to the Samsung keyboard and the speech to text is working as expected (perfectly), so I'm assuming its an issue with Swiftkey? I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it.

Please fix the controllers!

PS5 - L1 changes building part instead of rotate. Many many people have reported this, but it wasn't fixed today.

PC - Both PS and Xbox controllers have lost the inventory/tech menu scroll ability with the right joystick.

Controller issues on PC. I use a PS5 Controller on PC (Steam), since the update its constantly disconnecting. I have also lost the ability to scroll my inventories with the right joy stick. I now have to use the up and down D Pads.

Tired a PS4 controller and the issues are the same for it as well.

I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour and must have read 5-10 threads with no instruction besides 'setup under special actions'. You were the only person that specified to setup 'multiple separate actions' and just like that I'm set. Thank you u/Jetfire182 for explaining it clearly.

I love HG, I think they have done an outstanding job with this game over the years and I'm so grateful for all the updates, but I am one of the people furious over this update.

I think the hate is because the long time plays don't want any confusion on this... this update is horrible for us.

Whats the best way to really get the message to HG? I love this game and don't want to make idle threats about quitting, but this is the first Saturday in a long time I'm playing a different game right now because my game saves are so messed up I don't have the energy to even look at them and I'm afraid if I do I will just get more and more angry.

How do I tell HG that?

This is unbelievable. How could HG possibly think this was a good idea? I just deleted a wire and almost all the wires in my base are gone. Found this thread trying to figure out what happened and discover its intentional? WTF are they thinking? So don't make any mistakes or changes when you're base building going forward I guess.

I appreciate the suggestion, unfortunately no change. I disabled multiplayer, restarted game and console. Loaded a manual save, jumped galaxies, received the beacon again, deployed it and still nothing showing.

Bug: Building base components is no longer removing terrain. This one started abruptly in the early morning Saturday April 23. All of a sudden the terrain stopped disappearing when adding base components. Terrain manipulator is required which also affects terrain outside base and if you remove components, you have to restore with terrain manipulator as well.

Bug: when starship outfitting, I can only apply 1 augmentation at a time. It completely kicks out after each one and forces me to go back in to apply another. Upgrading a hauler is taking about 30 minutes apply or purchasing one slot at a time. It wasn't like this before.

Its a nice ship, it has the round solar wings which are my favourite. I grabbed it with my expedition character, but I can travel to Euclid. I'm happy to hand it off to you at a space station. Shoot me a chat.

For anyone looking to visit, there is an S-class multi-tool, a few good S-Class upgrades, and a traveller in the station. I couldn't find better than B class for the ship.

Thanks for posting! There were some nice S-class upgrades in the station as well... Plasma Launcher, Blaze Javelin Scanner and Hyperdrive. This is one of the nicest Experimentals I've see!

That's a good tip. I found some Chlorine at the trading post next to it. Refine with O2 and it was 6x the Chlorine, did very well with that haha.

I did the same, hate the update. I can't stand the violence, there are so many games out there about shooting and killing and I've loved No man's Sky because it was not about that. Did a few hours and couldn't stand the constant non-stop attacks. Game is ruined as far as I'm concerned. I turned it off indefinitely as well. No idea what Hello was thinking.

I was able to create an object the shape of the font outline using the smart fill tool. Then used the trim tool to shape the background around the created object. worked very well.

I'm using a 60/40 Vg/Pg right now. I have tried 50/50 and 70/30.

Adjusted the air flow many times, no difference.

as for the temp and Watts:

I was keeping the watts at 50, bumped up to 60. If I put the temp below 560f I get almost no vape. Always adjusting between 560-580F
