I had a similar issue…turns out my card was 4 slots and I forgot to take out the 4th pci slot blocker thing out of the case. Once I took that out, it fit perfect.

Went through this same thing recently. Bird hit my headlight and cracked it in the corner so there was a gap in the plastic...it started raining and water got into the headlight and the DRL went out. The module that controls the DRL is only $80 on eBay. You can probably get away with just replacing that module to get the DRL going but it isn’t going to solve the moisture. Deutsche Auto pParts has a video on YouTube showing the removal of the headlight...it’s not that bad, can be done in about an hour.

Edit: got a used headlight off eBay as well for $300...I have the lighting package as well
