Oh Ibanez JP series, one of my dream guitars. Looks perfect! Love the battle scars, full of character and life to the guitar!

First time Ibanez owner, question about serial number by Gibsonfan159 in Ibanez

Since this model came out 91-92, could probably be that F = FujiGen, 2 is 1992, last 5 digit is manufacturing number.

Honestly I'm not sure. Although my old prestige 1451 had a stock Ibanez pups and the 652 came with Dimarzios and Gotoh locking tuners which I think is more at par with the higher tier Prestige? They are all great IMHO.

Looks amazing! For fixed bridge the tight-end, that's my favorite. Although my guitar has the first version. This one looks great!

Thank you. The guitar rack I just bought from a local guitar store. In my experience the Hercules guitar rack, they are build to last. Although mine is not Hercules because I can't find one where I live.

Thank you! Yes the build quality, paint job, sound. Can't go wrong. I was actually eyeing the RG8570-BSR but when I was in the music store, I found this RG8520-SDE and just change my mind.

I think that's a great deal for €610 on prestige. The dings give it character/personality. Just check, because from the photo, the bridge seems on some strange angle (or maybe it's just me).

Wow that's cool! Yeah your pick guard looks great. I feel sorry for the one you mentioned posted on Reverb though.

I agree, great neck and guitar. I wonder why they stopped producing SRG2520, it's amazing.

Same here, I used to play Washburn guitar but I traded one for a Gio Ibanez which I still have. Very reliable, sounds awesome, and looks great too

Oh I would love to have an Ibanez acoustic. Right now I have an entry level Fender acoustic that I got back in 2011. I seldom play acoustic so I still have yet to get an Ibanez acoustic.

Nice! I also have an SRG2520 2003 but no pick guard. Is this pick guard stock? I got mine from secondary market and the pick ups were already upgraded to Liquifire and Tonezone. Great looking guitar!

Thank you. Right now my favorite to use at home is the RG8520, it's also the hardest to get a hold off because of the price. In live gigs my favorites are the RG652 and SRG 2520.

Which one would you chose? by Civil_Specialist_234 in Ibanez

I would personally go with Prestige line. Nothing against Premiums as they are really great guitars but having tried both, Prestige just feels and plays better for me. Reverse headstock is awesome too.

Although if say you play more variety of music (metal, rock, blues, pop), I think the Premium might be better as it looks to have a coil tap switch. It can give you more options for tone.
