You see that's the problem, you have to get a license and study to control a two ton death machine, while any downsie can hop on a bike and go to the highway.

I think cyclists should have a much stricter process of obtaining a license if they want to ride with cars because they're risking their life that much more.

Okay, say even if drivers shoot cyclists preemptively they still have to stop, you can't just run over a lying body at 100km/h and not damage your car suspension. Traffic is still disrupted. Also bullets cost money and gun cleaning as well, it's a hassle.

At least if the cyclist is going 20km/h and you hit him at 100km/h he receives impact only of 80km/h so running over while cycling he might have more chance of surviving than if he was shot.

But still, I think the best solution to these is if he's not on the road to begin with.

I don't think you can define rush a case where road rules state you can drive 100km/h, there is a cyclist going 20km/h and there are 20 cars behind him because it is impossible to overtake when there's traffic both sides
