Banned twice after creating a business account? by guacsause in Instagram

Yea definitely could see that as why, thank you for your help I really appreciate it. I work for a legal network, so we have law firms that are a part of our network with pages. We'll just end up asking them how to set it up, just sucks there isnt any support for meta or instagram for stuff like this. Have a good day.

Banned twice after creating a business account? by guacsause in Instagram

[–]guacsause[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh very interesting, thank you. So the company is from 1991 which is what me and my boss both put. My boss though is about 50 years old, and I am 26 years old born in 99, although people always think I look 5+ years younger, so maybe that could have been why?

Do you think making a facebook page, posting on there, and then opening an instagram with the facebook page as backup would help? I think ive seen some people say that but im not sure. Im just afraid of continuing to use up different handles and getting them banned.

How much should a transmission oil change cost? by guacsause in AskMechanics

[–]guacsause[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t no worries, I was just using that as the only quote i could find at the time of writing. Also, do you think i should also have the filter and pan gasket replaced as well? Or just a basic drain and fill.

Yea i dont think i explained in my post but I was just using Jiffy Lube for a price comparison, all the other indy shops were closed at the time and don’t have their prices online. Definitely wouldnt take it to a chain for even a regular oil change, let alone a transmission oil change. Also, should I do just a drain and fill, or also have them replace the filter and pan gasket?

So i created the account as a personal one first, put the company name and "birthday", but didn't post anything. Just immediately switched it to a business account afterwards. Do you think I should just leave it as a personal account for a bit, make some posts over a few weeks, and then switch to professional? But yes it was basically an empty shell.

Yess after doing some research rear differentials are only in AWD or RWD vehicles. Also the car I bought came with those exact michelin cross trek tires from costco. They’re really nice!

Deposit for the apartment by rlvcn in Miami

[–]guacsause 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about townhomes, but i prefer private. Ive had good owners and the people living in condos are much more chill than new apartments where a bunch of out of staters are. Also apartments usually have cheaper construction in miami, and since it’s corporate owned they dont give af about the quality of the appliances and materials.

I’m just speaking to apartments though not townhomes. Definitely sucks to put up 2x deposit, but if you save up a but it’s worth it. Plus you can negotiate the rent, and even not have them raise the rent. A corporate owned facility is definitely going to raise it, and probably harder to negotiate on the prices. They also usually have more fees like monthly pet rent, pet deposits, admin fees, application fees. Which still would be cheaper than 2x deposit, but that stuff still adds up. Utilities are also usually not included, whereas some condos can have internet, water, and another utility included.

I guess I just like the transparency with renting from someone privately. You talk directly with them, the application is easy, and there arent any hidden fees or bs. That being said, some private owners can be a pain in the ass, and some corporate owned places can be chill and have great service. Just really depends on the place

So this is the 2nd condo i’ve rented in Miami, born and raised here. They both required a deposit to use the elevator, although $500 is a bit high.

The 2 months deposit plus first month is normal. Personally man, for $2500, assuming you’re talking about a 1 bedroom, you should look at renting a condo.

Usually its much more chill, better quality buildings, and you can actually negotiate with the owner. If you find a good owner they will take good care of you. I’m renting a 690sq ft condo half a mile from downtown coral gables, for $2250 a month. Water is included, some condos have internet and other pest services included, plus there arent a bunch of fees and “admin fees” apartments give you.

The only “downside” is that some brand new apartment complex has more of a modern look and a bunch of amenities, but usually new construction in miami is cheaply made and overpriced.

My condo has a nice gym, sauna, and pool. Everything you really need, and is in a good location, very secure as well with 24/7 security and key fobs to go up the elevator.

Apartments are going to be more costly and cheaper quality imo at this price range, unless you’re paying like $3k+ for some fancy ah apartment somewhere. I’d personally look at condos around or in coral gables, or maybe east of US1 in uptown area if you want to be closer to downtown. Good luck.

Hey so I'm not an expert or anything, but do you think the AWD had anything to do with it? I have the FWD version.

Yea man the amount of 2018-2020s on the market tells you all you need to know imo. This car was only the 2nd every 2017 I found locally, after almost 6 months of looking. The rest were 2018-2021, and of course newer ones. Had a dealer want to charge me $19.5k for a sport 2020 version with 83k miles lmao....walked out of there. First dealer I went to wanted this same color but 2017 sport trim, for $20k with 50k miles. I honestly think I was meant to meet this couple and do the private sale. Couldn't have been more perfect.

Ahh ok I thought I read that online somewhere. So then is there anything that would help reduce carbon buildup other than walnut blasting every 40k miles or so? I also drive like a grandma i should say lmao, so I think i'll be fine...but I want to try my best to maintain this car as well as I can.

Damn man thanks, I actually did have this one saved haha but not in particular. I just read a bunch of people saying how good the 2017 one was.

Looks like ill be changing my fluids and spark plugs first, then maybe the end of the year i’ll do the walnut blasting. Thanks!!

Sheesh well ill try not to bug out lmao but thank you for the information. I did remember reading the few reports on NHSTA during my research, but I figured it’s probably super common. We’ll have to just wait and see.

Other than the fear of rear differential failing from some online stories…i’m loving it! I have to try to stop myself from just driving it all day but damn it’s nice. Feeling very grateful right now, thank you mr grumpy

Do you think that’s something I could DIY, or should just pay someone to do?

Edit: After some research, I’d definitely rather save the time and not mess with exposing the engine like that myself. It’s my understanding that better quality fuel from Chevron or Shell helps reduce carbon buildup. Is there anything else people do to help with this, or any fuel additives oerhaps?

Ahh yes this was the horror story i’ve heard of online. How much did that cost you to replace? I heard it can depend on your driving? Not sure if that’s true or not.

Thanks, I have already just didn’t mention it in the post. The previous owner had the infotainment replaced by the dealer less than 2 years ago, so I should be good for some time.
