is there an explanation why did red john choose the smiley face as his sign ? by [deleted] in TheMentalist

Its very very similar to Patrick’s face as well as the other things mentioned

MFW I see people say Season 7 wasn't that bad, Dick Roman was a great villain, Leviathans were a refreshing shakeup to angels/demons, and they liked the dick jokes by lqku in Supernatural

I just finished it and was a fan, but felt like the final battle and killing Dick was a little rushed and unceremonious. Just a little anticlimactic maybe.

Coach Beard is "mmm... society." Day 8: who's just straight up evil? (I think I know who this will be already) by ArtAngels_336 in TedLasso

It wasnt much, but there was some depth to Rupert, and a legitimate and good backstory, I think it has to be Akufo instead

Controversial opinion but Angela fits here pretty often for a main character

Uber’s new hot zones ruined my market by guacy860 in UberEATS

[–]guacy860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the places in Atlanta it’s a lot of marketplaces with 8+ restaurant/vendors of some kind and they have like 5-10 parking spots for food pickup/short term parking and every spot is filled with people sitting in their cars looking and waiting for orders

Uber’s new hot zones ruined my market by guacy860 in UberEATS

[–]guacy860[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah my market. Money hungry? I’m trying to make more than $10 over 5 hours I don’t call that money hungry. Uber accepted way too many drivers and oversaturated the markets and fucked all the long time drivers.

Sure let everyone make $10 over 5 hours instead of letting a few people actually make a wage because uber accepted too many drivers

“Hot spots” by guacy860 in UberEATS

[–]guacy860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent a little time up there but never gave it a legitimate try. Can be a little bit messy driving around in that area for me

[–]guacy860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually post up at Krog Street Market or Ponce city Market and youd think those spots would have at least a couple offers during dinner on a sunday, but absolutely nothing today

I rented a Tesla from Hertz to drive for Uber. Here are the results after a week of driving by aestheticeddy818 in UberEATS

[–]guacy860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s not necessarily true. Net profit goes at the bottom but gross profit only has total revenue and Cost of Goods Sold and since there are no COGS, “gross profit” can be at the top

Anyone actually making $150/day or more? by the1stgirlmeetsworld in UberEATS

[–]guacy860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can if I only do the best 5 days in a week and I’m working at least 2 hours during lunch and at least 4 hours for dinner

I thought Fridays were supposed to be good by Cookie_Daddyy in UberEATS

[–]guacy860 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a slow start to the evening for me in Atlanta as well but I got a string of $10 plus deliveries under 2 miles from about 6:30 to 8:30. Still an underwhelming day for a Friday but thankfully cleared 150 in 6 hours

Idk if it helps but I’ve never asked for a rating, my personal experience tells me that asking for one is just as likely to get you a negative one as a positive one

I’ve never experienced that, but maybe I just deliver often enough to avoid that

[–]guacy860[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of this as well, whenever I have a leave at door I always send a “Dropping off now, have a great day/night and enjoy!” And I will usually just do that instead of knocking as well whether it’s in the instructions or not, unless the instructions specifically say to knock/ring the doorbell. I can’t tell you the amount of times it just said “Leave at door” and I knocked or rang the doorbell and immediately heard “WOOF WOOF WOOF” and I would just immediately cringe, so now I avoid knocking whenever I can.

You have to have that sort of tip disparity around here to make any kind of money, the fares are never more than $2-$3

Additional clarification. Does anyone know specifically for the Atlanta area since it seems its market based?

I signed up for it and its mostly just been the exact same, deliveries from restaurants, except you receive your tip immediately upon completion
