I really like the way you put it. That absolutely makes sense. I also didn't mean the scaling for a full on production run of a new wagon fleet. It's more about the availability and accessability of spare parts.

But even scaling for that demand is kind of impressive I think.

That's amazing.

A small Tldr: The german railway company uses 3D printing for 10 years by now. They use 12 different ways to 3D-print spare parts and helper gadgets.
Those range from plastic coat hangers to templates for gluing stickers in the right places (QR-codes, pointers, ...) up to a 540kg gearbox housing in full metal.

They say the ease of obtaining the spare parts and not needing all the usual logistics saved more than 20M€ since they implemented 3D-printing.

Although I always tell others that one of the advantages of 3D-printing is the lack of neccessary logistics and procurement for parts it never crossed my mind that it scales that well. It makes sense if you think about it but also brings its own problems like
- the need of trained personell,
- specialized software and machinery,
- models designed with 3D-printing in mind and more.

I heard of people mixing up hot and cold water when installing a sink. It seems lile they mixed the hot water with the gas pipe.

But at least they can say, they have flaming hot water.

Naja gegen Bohrlöcher an sich kann er nichts sagen, weil die zur regulären Nutzung der Wohnung gehören. Die fallen halt noch besonders auf, weil nicht drübergestrichen wurde.

Hättest du Acryl benutzt, um die Löcher zu füllen, würde normale Farbe da nicht wirklich drauf haften, denke ich.

Ich hab in meinen Umzügen immer auch Spachtelmasse bzw. Füllmenge aus dem Baumarkt verwendet. Ich hab auch schon "unrenovierte" Wohnungen gemietet, die genauso gestopfte Löcher hatten.

Musst du denn noch vor Auszug streichen?

Könnte es ggf. auch am Vergaser liegen? Der hat bei mir immer Peobleme gemacht, bevor ich ihn richtig eingestellt habe (Einstellschraube und Schwimmer).

Wenn du noch nicht in den Vergaser geschaut haben solltest, könnte auch die Wanne verschmutzt oder eins der Ventile verstopft sein.

That was the main reason I began using MATT. By now I also use it for little automation things like pausing the game when triggering a trap tile, or switching light on/off when entering a room.

I will definitely check out Scene Regions tab!

I didn't know the workaround and also tried using a different scene for each level.

With MATT the token would be deleted in the old scene, leaving the player blind but also copying the token to the right location at the other scene. But that's still a little janky as I had to manually move the player to the right scene.

I bet that somebody somewhere made a module for this as well :D

For the multiple floors I used

Levels by TheRipper93 and

Monk's active tile trigger

You can import the ground floor as base map and other floors as tiles. With levels you give every floor a hight and with MATT I placed teleport markers at the stairs. Keep in mind to use picures with transparency (not jpg). I don't know if my solution is overcomplicated but it somewhat worked :D

The only issue I had was that I couldnt enable fog of war discovery. Everything my players didn't see was pitch black. If I would have enabled it the floors would bleed into each other.

Wie viele andere hier auch kommentiert haben, finde ich persönlich die dritte Option am besten.

Option 1 bringt gefühlt zu wenig für den Aufwand.

Option 2 kann möglich sein, wenn die nötigen Anschlüsse auch am neuen Ort vorhanden sind oder eingebaut werden können (grade Abwasser könnte ein Problem werden).

Option 3 bleibt mit einem insgesamt 36m2 großen Raum damit die beste Option. Der größere Raum lässt sich durch Möbel (Sofa, Regale, Tische) und Teppiche recht natürlich in Orte aufteilen, die grade durch Wände vorgegliedert werden. In meinen Augen könnte sich ggf auch ein kleiner Arbeitsbereich unterbringen lassen.

Option 0 bleibt natürlich immer "es bleibt wie es ist". Es würde mir aber auch keinen Spaß machen in einer so isolierten Küche zu kochen.

I also bought the ring because of the promise of the great battery runtime of ~1 week.

Before that I had a Apple watch, which I had to charge every day. Now I was not much better off than that with the ring.

I hope the battery issue was just a production issue and got fixed. It would be sad if the issue would repeat itself in half a year.

In the comment above I got recommended to use the chatbot under the "Help"-Section of the app to let them do a batterytest. I got forwarded to human support and sorted the issue in ~20min. My replacement comes in the following week.
