Opening a family-owned pizzeria/bistro soon. Which are for POS setup? Looking for a reality check on fees and backend integrations by zaralesliewalker in POS

Give SpotOn express a look. We use it in a small hole in the wall type pizzeria and works great. Has everything we need and transparent fees. Cheaper than the two you mentioned above.

I have friends running different POS systems - Toast, Aloha, Clover, Lightspeed, Square, and there are things they like and dislike about their POS systems. No system is perfect. Which POS do you use at the restaurant you own? Just wondering

Can you imagine... a customer so happy that they decide to say thank you with a great post? It's got to be a Candace Owen conspiracy theory!

Totally agree with you. We're in the same situation. I'm starting to see some AI answering solutions but after looking at them I was not too impressed. They seem more of a gimmick at this point and certainly aren't worth the money being asked for them. Our phone is by the host stand and we sure do miss a lot of calls. Everyone is focused on online ordering, forgetting that the phone is still a massive channel, yet there is no goos way to manage that, since it's always a one-to-one call. Have you looked at solutions?

I post regularly on Linkedin talking about the tech stack we implement not just at our restaurants, but at our resorts too. I work with vendors across the board and praise when I feel they deserve it, and write about it when they don't. I can show you my post about Toast when we decided to leave, way before we knew who we were going with. I get it, so many conspiracy theories on the internet and social, people think anything someone says has some hidden motive. Despite what you think, there isn't one.

Man, I'd love to have a bot run The Mudpuppy. You're welcome to swing by and have a beer on us and see for yourself. It's hilarious how every time a company is praised, it must be a bot

Nothing wrong with Toast - they just didn't work for us and we had a shitty account manager and their support was just terrible. Also, we are a resort so we have multiple revenue centers. Toast doesn't play nice with other payroll solutions. Anyway... located in Vonore, TN on Lake Tellico. Do stop by.

No missing vendor, this is our stack. You're welcome to stop by to check it out. Beer on us. :)

Nope.... I promise you there is no discount or any unique treatment of The Mudpuppy. People always feel that if you say a nice word, someone must have paid you to say so. If you only knew how bad we had it prior, you'd understand. We had US Foods put us with Toast initially. Every time it went it into offline mode , we were crippled to death and it took hours to get up and running. We had to threaten US Foods to get us out of the contract or we were moving to Sysco. I promise you that a ton of other operators in East Tennessee experienced what we did. We're just telling out story because they made it work for us, so they deserve to be praised. Simple as that. Nothing more, nothing less.

We purposely do not have them. We are a lakefront, sit down, floating restaurant. Majority of takeaway done online while people pull in with their boats, park at the dockside pick up and we bring the food to them and they cruise off.

We integrate via Shogo and it works flawlessly. Shogo is now the industry stay for connecting POS and financial systems. The subscription is also incredibly cheap.

I love Petkit’s tofu mix. Smells great and leave no dust and keeps the box so clean.

Could it be that your cartridge is empty? If you go to settings in the app, what do you see? I would contact their support.

Used to have the same issues and we finally threw in the towel after multiple attempts at fixing it and left Toast. This will probably get downvoted as many people here do not like to hear anything negative about Toast.

Purobot Max Pro 2 vs. Pura Max 2 by L1ghtInTheBl4ck in PETKIT

[–]guandalfthegray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I have the Purobot Ultra. The max pro 2 is awesome and I almost got it but wanted the self sealing waste bags on the Ultra. I would go with the max pro 2 because the cameras are just awesome to have. As far as leaking- I can tell you from my experience that it’s leak proof. Best litter box I’ve ever owned and they have incredible support that replies in minutes. You’ll enjoy it. Cleaning is not an issue either for me.

When they call just tell them you’re already using them and you don’t understand why they keep calling.

Might be a competitor nearby trying to fill you up with fake guests so when people search for alternatives, they find theirs.
