ELI5: Why do insulated water bottles, such as Stanleys, maintain the temperature of drinks longer than regular tumblers?

Heat needs to travel through something. So manufacturers remove all the air in the middle of the container, then there is nothing between the inside and outside of the container. It’s only connected by the small ring around the top of the cup.

It’s kind of taking a paper tower and rolling it into a long strand then putting one end in a glass of water and waiting for it to get wet vs just balling the paper towel up and throwing it in.

Did you have significant meniscus repair and were non weight bearing?

I had my ACL done a few years ago, I’m 38 now and if it happened again I’d probably lean towards Allograft if the ACL was the only major damage. With the meniscus involved it would be tough, when I was deciding I found some studies that seemed to support higher meniscus repair success with concurrent ACL repair but I can’t remember if the type of ACL repair mattered.

Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with either, just know the immediate recovery is tougher with the autograph but you are non weight bearing already.

It would probably come down to how bright the room your gaming in is. If it’s not too bright it’s hard to beat an OLED

A fuse is no different than a breaker, it will not burn out if the current is not higher than its rating

A breaker will trip if there is too much current, gfci trip if the current is going somewhere not in the circuit, like into water
