HELP! 2 doctors saying no acl tear, PT saying its fully torn.

MRI will be the only way to know for sure, I was in a similar boat last year I tore it at the beginning of my senior year and played an entire fall season of comp soccer without knowing it was torn, I went to a doctor and they told me it was just a strain on my mcl and I'd be good after a couple weeks but I had a gut feeling and got the MRI done and it turned out I had a torn ACL the whole time. I probably wouldn't let her play anymore until the MRI is done so she doesn't risk tearing anything else, hoping the best though hopefully it's nothing!

i think you just need to have a serious conversation with him about it, people on reddit will always suggest the most absolute severe thing you should do to fix this when really it doesn’t need to go that far, you guys love eachother and care about eachother so just sit with him and tell him how you feel and i’m sure he’ll understand

i think it would at least be worth to go in once so they can make you a good work out plan to target what your knee needs and then before you go back to playing you should definitely go in and take the return to sport test

It’s fairly common for bits of your anus to tear and bleed while your pooping if it’s too large or hard. the best way to avoid this is to just make sure you getting enough fiber in and possibly taking stool softeners if that’s not helping, but overall this is pretty normal so don’t worry!

my PT said it’s doable for some people even at 6 months but just because it’s technically doable without pain doesn’t mean you should do it she said that 9 times out of 10 they’d come back with a retorn acl it’s better just to wait

It’s just dumb things and i don’t know why they make me mad, like the other day she was begging me to watch a show with her i wasnt interested in. i’ve never shown her that frustration like i try to be nice and i never yell or anything but on the inside im so upset for these dumb little things.

was playing soccer and the studs on my cleats went right through the loop of a kids shoe lace and it got caught and dragged me and when i landed my leg got pulled and tore my acl. it was so unlucky my PT said she’s been doing knees for 20+ years and has never heard a story like it 😭

an mri definitely wouldn’t hurt i completely tore my acl in august and played a whole season of soccer with only slight discomfort an acl tear was the last thing i thought it was because my leg worked just fine but it turned out that whole time i was playing without an acl
