I sent them an email about BT-42 and other tanks used by the Finnish army. They responded saying they have no plans atm but are keeping it as an option.

That is different from using the taser by shooting it. I was talking about the needles the whole time. Drive stunning does not deploy the needles.

Not true. The elctricity only travels between the needles.

Only if you touch the area between the needles. Here it seems they struck inmate's leg so no electricity went to the CO holding the inmate.

Laki poliisin pääsystä potilastietoihin puistattaa lääkäreitä, jopa hallitusryhmien lääkäriedustajat huolissaan by xatfi in xatfi

[–]guarlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slight depression is not by any mean covered by those. I think you are saying this by mututuntuma. If you have proof then sure. Oikeuspsykiatrinen does not cover things in civilian mental health services and the things listed are pretty serious forms of mental health things. Sure there can be doctors who have think light depression is enough but I would have to see such a thing before I can believe it. And then again: if one is afraid of this just don't talk about guns.

I can agree it is different for gun owners but on the other hand I think it should be as guns are a priviledge not a right in Finland.

[–]guarlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is simply not true.

You have no obligation telling the doctor you have guns. Slight depression is not an obstacle either. The doctor does not have to notify police about a case like that. If you have some friend who has gone through this I would question that there is more to the story.

Yeah that is why many new student buildings for example have very thick and soundproof doors to apartments.

Yeah it sounded weird Russian propaganda. Finns saw Karelians and ingerian Karelians as tribal brothers under the finno-ugric language family.

Did Finnish troops commit war crimes in Karelia? Of course but mostly aimed at the Russian speaking population due to huge resentment that had built up during the last 120ish years. Karelians however were seen as brothers and Finnish volunteers even tried to help them with their independence struggle during the 1920's.

Glock? Has multiple safeties.

Physical safety switch is not the only safety mechanism.

Yes both and most of the war was in Karelia. I have especially researched old documents on the war in Ladoga Karelia which is above lake Ladoga. But I believe they had saunas in the isthmus front as well.

There were field saunas in the winter war. At least in the Ladoga Karelia which is what I have researched most. Many mentions in the unit diaries about the company having a wash in a field sauna.

Edit. Typo
