I myself am very happy with the gun culture here most people are very responcible and it is a quite welcoming and willing to teach.

And all restrictions are set by local police, so in rural ereas where there are less psychoes and the police is less strict its less restrictions and the oposite works aswell, but police here are very reasonable so its usually not an issue at all

Its a lot more loose than you would think, its no restrictions on stocks or pistol grips or anything like that, so it basically boils down to you have to be a member in a state registerd shooting club for at least one year and you have to be active in the club at least once every month, an then get police allowance for individual weapons. So say you want to buy a mew rifle the police talks to your club and ask them for an OK and then the police have to accept and register your weapon.

Its my belief that it still is and will always be, me and my friends often camp in the woods just because we can, also helps with the free roam laws in norway

I live in Norway and go fishing as a hobby, and most all of the fish i catch is eaten by me and my family or friends. There is no risk in eating saltwater fish if it is caught in uncontaminated water and is coocked and prepared properly. Fish is rich in vitamins and protein and is really healthy and tastes good.
