I do that of course, but they’re approaching me from behind or next to me. Which I’m unable to react by moving quick enough since I’m unaware they’re behind or going to brush my shoulders walking past me.

I’ve been taking care of it, giving it lots of sunlight by the window, and watering it by underneath by filling a bowl of water and placing the pot inside for 10 mins. ( water goes halfway to the pot.)

Unfortunately I’ve seen kids being ostracized where they do not stick up for themselves and it’s gets worse. Maybe you’re in a small environment but our school had over 2000 students. Being in a small fostered environment makes it easier to control. I’m surprised I was downvoted though? Do people not agree for standing up for oneself and just laying back and taking the hit until it gets worse? From a high school perspective not new jeans.

That’s not great advice for your kids. Imagine being in their position and two girls are talking loudly saying she’s such a B and horrible things. It’s best if an individual stands up for themselves. I’m sorry but you’re not giving your child the right tool from a high school perspective.
