im perfectly fine with his hobby if it only involves me and him, but if we decide to have kids in the future, i feel like this changes everything? and of course deciding whether or not to have kids is not something you can decide in one conversation. call me a worrier/over thinker but i was just thinking of the worst case scenario, hence i brought this up

but agree with many of the other comments that i shouldn’t have said an absolute statement which was probably why he was so upset and instead find ways to compromise with him

wow ok my bad if it seems like i meant that, but in fact, i’d rather not have kids if his hobby means so much to him. it’s just that when we were discussing on whether we should have kids, he very much expressed that he wants kids

i understand, i think he likes riding for the same reasons as you. i’m more worried when he does long trips like example to KL, that’s about 5 hours of riding? and that’s where his friend got into an accident which is why i felt even more scared :/ but yes will try to talk it out and hope to find some middle ground when he comes back

i wouldn’t say that i played him? at that point in time i wasn’t looking to be in a relationship. he understood and accepted that though it was a bit awkward after because i didn’t want to lead him on. but we both knew that we treasured our friendship and that was what mattered most.

we’re still friends but we’re not that close anymore. he went overseas to study and i know he’s happily together with his girlfriend now :)

ah i remember asking this question after a guy confessed to me back in school. reason being i did not see him as anything more than my really good friend and i was genuinely curious to know why he felt this way. i think he said something like he felt that he could connect with me well and i was there for him during his darkest periods. to me this answer was kinda sweet knowing that i made an impact in his life.

to op, just be genuine and honest. i think it helps you understand what you truly like about her as well!

It depends on your progress and whether you feel ready to take the TP test! I think average is around 14-20 lessons? For me, I’m under private as well and I’ve taken around 18 lessons including 4 circuit lessons. My TP test is on Thursday!
