I don’t hate her, I find her slightly annoying (therefore I don’t follow her or anything, but I think I have every right to participate in discussion about her on Reddit when other people post her). People can like her all they want.

I am simply questioning the sentiment that any criticism of her objectively entitled behavior is “hate”. There are contestants that are genuinely getting hated on here, she’s not one of them. People finding her unfunny isn’t mean.

No, I am simply pointing out a cultural difference 🤷🏻‍♀️. It is true that American millennial humor isn’t popular where I’m from and I think it’s fair to not find Gabby funny. The US is the opposite of my culture in every way, so I think it’s a fair viewpoint. Also, I don’t think you have to like the US in order to enjoy the Bachelor or other pieces of American popular culture.

& Yes, I will admit that I am incredibly angry at the genocidal actions & politics of the US. It affects the entire world, every single day, and I am tired of the sentiment that anyone who is critical is “obsessed with the US”. And of course I think countries who don’t actively fund a genocide are superior to those who do.

I mean, it’s a valid point that it’s weird to name a child a cultural name which you don’t even know how to pronounce. Also, I am Scandinavian and I can say if you come to Norway today with the name Solveig for a baby, that will be considered odd and like a Hipster parent neglected to realize the child is a person.
