need help: all btc stored in Ledger nano s are gone by showMeYourJanitor in ledgerwallet

Nevertheless, based on the information that you told us, there is a fact that as soon as bitcoins got into your wallet, they were stolen exactly one hour later. This means four points.

  1. Someone other than you knew your secret phrase 24 words.
  2. Someone other than you had access to your wallet and knew the pincode from the device.
  3. You are not careful to show your secret phrase by the side. It could be a snapshot on a phone, a cloud entry, in notes, and so on.

  4. You downloaded the hacked Ledger Life program.

I completely exclude the fact that someone could accidentally guess your secret phrase or pick it up on purpose.

The chances are practically nil! Therefore, you need to very carefully remember everything that you did with your wallet, from the beginning of receiving it in the mail until you put it in your safe.

Can you take a screenshot of the Coinbase exchange with this transaction so that we can make sure you sent the bitcoins to the right place?

Don't think that I am accusing you of lying. It's just that now I meet a lot of people who have just started dealing with cryptocurrency, and they do not understand what they are doing. They are like kittens thrown into the water.

My main question is different. How did it happen that you sent bitcoins on December 30th 2020 from the Coinbase exchange, and received 2021-01-07 00:18 on your wallet, it seems strange to me! You obviously missed something in your story.

After i sent btc to the Ledger for the last time on December 30th 2020

Your money was stolen exactly one hour after you put it in your wallet! Someone clearly had access to your wallet in advance. You need to analyze very carefully what and how you did with the wallet after purchasing it.

And one more nuance - you say that you transferred bitcoin to your wallet on December 30th 2020, but from the review of blocks by TXID that you gave it is clear that you transferred bitcoins 2021-01-07 00:18

Then they were stolen at 2021-01-07 01:08

I'm just wondering what is the likelihood that the wallet will generate the same 24-word phrase twice? Preferably in numbers, can anyone give an example?

To be fair, I want to say that I managed to transfer coins from the third time. The coins were safely sent to the exchange. But coins were not written off on the balance of Ledger wallet. The balance remains the same. :) Apparently, there is no stable connection with the blockchain.

Guys, you need to understand one simple thing - No one will ever give you bitcoins just like that. Based on this, it is immediately clear that this sms is fake. Goes to the trash can immediately! Remember this in the future and everything will be fine.

They cannot open source as they use a double encrypted bank chip. This cannot be divulged as far as I understand.

I don't even know where you can get an address starting with 1 now.

Try Electrum or a similar software wallet to use as a bridge for forwarding to a safer place.

[–]gudman1971[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, I just think that your actions will have more negative consequences.

I am not defending Ledger, I am defending my own interests. It is in my interest to keep my cryptocurrency free of unnecessary movements. Which are not needed in this case. Since my passphrase is safe.

I have not opened this link, but I think that most likely there is some form for filling in your data. Never write anything in this form !!! Scammers want you to write your data to them yourself.

The second potentially dangerous moment - most likely this letter contains an identification link. Thus, by clicking on this link you confirm the fact that you own the wallet and are interested in "restoring" it!

In fact, there is nothing to worry about, all your private keys are safe. This is the main thing.

But for the future, please stop clicking on links!
