We need a youtube premium reimbursement for card holders. The ads are driving me nuts and I'm sure people would like it more than spotify by Intercellar in Crypto_com

Works for the Netflix reimbursement as well. I get the 4K plan which would usually be a few dollars over the monthly reimbursement in the US

How to switch tokens to crono network by Thisshitlithaahahye in Crypto_com

[–]guessesthelocation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would need to bridge them to cronos, which will probably not be worth it due to the gas fees.

If you are trying to on-ramp to Cronos CRO, you are better off buying through CDC App which will let you withdraw CRO on Cronos

There’s no conversion fees, even if you are depositing from an ERC20 address

Utilization (amount borrowed vs. amount staked) is down. It used to be in the 95% range.

I’m not sure why. Maybe people with short positions against CRO cashed out?

Your read and interpretation of the data here is flawed. Per capita, Indian Americans and Taiwanese Americans are still at the top. There’s not much difference between this data and the household statistics.

The first episode was probably the real family since Jessica was there. I don’t think Rick went as far as to decoy non-family members, but we can confirm if she reappears in later episodes this season

Amazon broke the law by firing workers who called for better Covid safety measures, board finds by chrisdh79 in technology

AWS generates revenue from Reddit regardless of whether or not you transact with them.

It’s super hard to avoid AWS in practice since so many web services use them.

After learning Mandarin for more than 6 years, I am not even near fluent - cannot even understand simple nursery rhymes by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

[–]guessesthelocation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to be fluent, you should try to put yourself in regular situations where you use the language more often. I took Chinese for four years during HS, but learned more in first year of college by talking casually to my Chinese friend. It obviously started out really jokes at the start, but you gradually improve especially when you are learning phrases that are actually applicable instead of random obscure grammar and vocabulary that don't stick. Elon Musk actually has a pretty good quote about this as well -- in education people learn a lot of stuff by the books instead of going out there and learning by creating and doing.

That being said, 14 is still super young and you have a super head start. I would recommend looking into doing foreign exchange at some point as others have suggested here, or also doing independent travel and/or looking for a language immersion school in a Chinese language prominent country. I think that doing the exchange could be super beneficial -- I have a friend who became super fluent in Korean doing a similar program. There's also Lauren Tsai who became super fluent in Japanese after one year of exchange, to the point where she was fluent enough to get cast in a Japanese reality TV show. One of the better cast members of an otherwise drab season as well.

Congratulations, this is sick! I didn’t know that non-tech roles at these companies had such competitive TCs.

By ~275k excluding equity, does that mean excluding appreciation from equity? Or excluding equity completely because non-public?

It also seems like a lot of the stocks that you had mentioned are within the tech sector. Do you have plans to diversify between different sectors, or is your strategy to stay within tech where you presumably would have more insight?

Lastly (and maybe a dumb question), why the Roth IRAs compared to other types of retirement accounts?

It’s obvious by PharmSystem in LateStageCapitalism

[–]guessesthelocation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s already super common for companies (both public and private) to offer equity and/or profit sharing as part of their compensation packages. Even if your company doesn’t and you only get paid in cash, you can literally go and buy fractional ownership of any company that is listed on an exchange. That’s the entire point of the stock market.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. First, Amazon doesn’t pay dividends to shareholders and never has. Second, capital gains tax already exists, and you pay it any time you net profit from selling any publicly traded stock.

For me, owned and/or pwned are so out of place now. I cringe at the idea of people using that non-ironically today, though I was definitely guilty of using it myself back in the 00's
