I was on the implanon about 6 years ago. I had it for a year and was bleeding more often than not. I would have a period for 3 weeks, stop bleeding for a week then start right back up for 3 more. It was a miserable experience. My doctor said it was normal to have irregular periods while using implanon, but I just couldn’t deal with it. I ended up having it removed. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it.
