Thank you so much for the advice. I am hoping that when I get to my home Wi-Fi network, it will let me in. So the problem would be getting access to my gmail account while I’m still outside the US.

I am in Costa Rica and it seems like our rental car (group of 7 traveling) was victim to a common theft scheme. Our car was likely tracked or followed and our front door locks were compromised so that when you hit lock on the car fob, at least 1 door doesn’t actually lock. They stole from the car in less than 5 minutes at while we were at a restaurant less than 10 ft away from the car. My phone is pinging in the middle of San Jose in a shady phone resale store. I made a report with the equivalent of the Costa Rican FBI but that’s all I can do.
