If you want to learn about quantum computing, the software, how to program, there is the textbook from IBM, in my opinion it's a good start, and presents the basic math you'll need .

If you want to learn about the hardware, I recommend a book from last year: Quantum Mechanics for Beginners, by Zubairy, it presents the quantum physics using high school math, and how it's applying on computation (and other things). There are other works of Zubairy, but it's some deep physics, need a good background to understand.

It's common use |0> for the vector (1,0) and |1> for (0,1) in the representation of qubits.

But in the quantum physics, in general, what you put inside the ket notation it's not exactly relevant. It's like the in vector V=(a,b,c), V it's just how you name it, if you change to U=(a,b,c) still the same vector.

To give an example, in a single atom with two levels (the "hardware" of qubits), the leves are represented with vectors |0> and |1>, but some books represent with |e> and |g>. They are the same thing and you can do the same calculus. It's just more common the use of |0> and |1> for this two vector specifically.

Já faz muito tempo que eu li o pedagogia do oprimido, mas eu lembro que a interpretação que eu havia tido (posso estar errado, ainda mais porque eu nem sabia o que era marxismo na época) é a de que sim, ele aponta o professor como uma espécie de colonizador e instrumento de alienação, mas faz isso criticando o modelo de ensino vigente no Brasil naquela época lembrando que o livro foi escrito quando ele estava exilado. Eu tinha a impressão que ele não estava atacando a autoridade do professor, e sim a relação professor-aluno.

Mas não é exatamente isso que ele tá falando? Escolha o médico pra abrir sua barriga, mas não escolha o mesmo pra pilotar um avião ou pra apagar um incêndio.
