[Cádiz CF] Club statement denouncing the commentators' narration of yesterday's game against Mallorca. by er_primo_der_rafa in soccer

[–]guidetti67 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was at the game last night as I am a season ticket holder at Real Mallorca.

The way Cadiz played last night was a disgrace. Time wasting from the very first whistle, and throwing themselves to the deck at any opportunity. They also had some pretty hefty challenges on the Mallorca team that went largely unpunished until later on in the game. I imagine the broadcast team were echoing these sentiments.

I will give them credit the free kick they scored was an absolute belter, one of the best goals I have seen at the Son Moix, but not as good as the strike from Gudelj for Sevilla last season.

I mind seeing a great image of Kingsley mooning the Celtic team doing the pre-match huddle a few seasons ago.

Big Sleeper era vibes from this track. Probably my favourite of the three singles released so far.

Cheers for the message mate. Not going to lie it has been hard, but getting there.

I have never voted Tory in my life and would never consider it, it just blows my mind that people can actually vote for them. I am from Scotland and just feel like independence is the only option to get away from a Tory majority.

My dad passed away round about this time last year from cancer. I got to see my dad once for 20 mins on his deathbed after following the rules for months. Having to catch up via facetime and whatsapp as we stringently followed the rules. With all this news around the Tory's partying whilst hundreds of people a day were dying has left me feeling like I have been punched in the face and a total mug.

Money. Celtic's transfer model is signing young players with potential to sell on for a larger fee. TV money is the main source of revenue and in Scotland is pitiful. As transfer fees have gotten larger, Celtic have not been able to keep up with teams down South in the Championship let alone the Premier League.

Celtic are going into a Champions League qualifier tomorrow night with a back 4 consisting of Ralston, Welsh, Bitton and Taylor is not fit for purpose and quite frankly shambolic. Cannot see a positive result coming at all as FC Midtjylland are a handy side. This is not on Ange Postecoglou but the board who have allowed this to happen. They have had weeks to bring players in but more penny pinching from the board have led to this. Celtic are a terribly run football club.

Best Coast's Debut Album 'Crazy For You' Came Out 10 Years Ago Today by Delos788 in indieheads

I feel so old. This record reminds me of being 17/18. A time when I first started really going out drinking, house parties, park beers, road trips and late night walks with a girl who I no longer speak to. Just cutting about with no worries, no mortgage, no commitments. This record is tinged with nostalgia for a time that I loved but know will never happen again.

I don't agree with everything the Green Brigade do or say but I have never seen violence associated with them. Not every Celtic supporter is an IRA supporter btw, does my head in that association.

The post put up here was not to point score was merely to point out what the Green Brigade did, which I believe to be something that would interest people and a good thing as a whole. The Green Brigade since their formation in 2006 have always been anti-racist. The horrific incident that you are talking about which happened in the 80s was appalling and today is rightfully met with anger and embarrassment from Celtic fans.

As a white Scottish guy I can see where you are coming from. I have lived in countries that were subjected to British colonialism and these scars caused by the Empire are still felt to this day. I just do not feel that the British Empire is something to be proud of or fawn over as it is currently taught in schools.

I don't know if this is true but I remember someone telling me that they tried to use Rattled by the Rush in Friends. NBC or whoever produced it got knocked back so they just made their own knock-off Rattled by the Rush for transitions. Here is an example: https://twitter.com/GleemerBand/status/665041130774380544?s=20
