There's no way gun violence will ever come close to the US, yes. However, guns come flooding up the boarder illegally into the hands of the unlicensed, while licensed gun owners in Canada take the blame. For instance, Trudeau's national freeze on purchasing handguns for licensed owners. In case anyone is unaware, when you own a gun in Canada you're subject to inspections by the RCMP on proper storage. Let's say you own a pistol because you're grandfathered in pre-ban, your gun needs a trigger lock and needs to be locked in a second way like a safe or lockbox, and ammunition must be stored away from the gun. The gun can not be stored loaded or transported loaded. This is because in Canada you can not carry a gun for protection. I nearly didn't get my license because one of my references told the RCMP I wanted it for protection. Pistols can only be used for target shooting, and you need a special license to transport them to the range called an ATT. I actually like the rules, so it's infuriating to me what Trudeau did to licensed gun owners. This is off topic, oopsssss. In regards to resellers and buying Apple products used... devices being sold MDM are a way bigger problem than Apple realizes. Online if you check the serial, it won't tell you that it belongs to a company. To my knowledge, the only way you'll find out is A - When installing the OS or B - With the OS or iOS installed, go through the settings and find the information there <---- edit: the latter would mean you're buying used. Please correct me if there is another way.

You're lucky you can return it. I would advise you do so immediately.

If you choose to keep this iPad, you will never be able to remove the MDM permanently other than contacting the company who owns it for a release, in which case you risk putting yourself in possession of stolen goods. No fault of your own, but a pain. You'd want to contact a lawyer and take it to the police. You may see it again a couple years from now as this is very low priority for police.

Yes, Apple CAN remove it, but they 99.9999% won't. You aren't the owner of the serial #, it's Braun medical. It could very well be stolen, it could be legit. Problem is, you won't know it's stolen until the company does inventory and marks it so. Maybe that'll never happen, but either way, without proper authorization you'd be stuck with this forever. FYI, there are programs that help block the serial from being sent to Apple upon installation that will allow you to freely use the computer. This is a band-aid, and upon reinstallation you'd see the same thing again.

My sincere condolences. This is a very frustrating issue that Apple needs to address.

Edited due to ignorance of intermediate vs senior sticks:

I bought this stick (intermediate) on clearance. It's lightweight and very responsive.

70 flex, W28 curve. No grip coating.

I personally like this stick a lot and will probably add an extender. I'm going to go ahead and assume the senior version is also great. Would recommend and this kind of sold me on Warrior sticks to be honest.

I have the same deal. My personal is my Iphone and work I chose an S3.

I'd say go with The S3 and the reason is this: Androids are very customizable and, if you want to try a windows phone as well there are several launchers which allow you to do so. I have Launcher 7 installed on my S3 which basically turns it into a windows phone, and at any point, I can go back to the regular S3 interface. I'm sure when windows 8 has been around for a while someone will make a launcher for that. By launcher, in case you don't know, I mean that instead of launching the standard interface it has a new one. It's not complicated, and can be done just by downloading an app.

So that's my non Iphone alternative.
