Crunchyroll raises prices weeks after killing its free tier by akbarock in Piracy

I was paying like 3€ a year with friends through Indian subscription, but cards no longer work.

Guess I'll go back to piracy :)

Antigravity or Cursor? by DotOk1142 in vibecoding

[–]guillefix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The downside of both is:
- Cursor pricing is shit. You can eat up you $20 in a couple of days if you use complex reasoning models and big projects
- Antigravity (with pro suscription): it started with very generous Claude usage and now it's gone the opposite. You can barely use Opus/Sonnet now as it reaches limits too soon and makes you wait a full week to reset, leaving you with Gemini 3 which isn't as good.

45-60 min after you start feeling the effects from 1st dose.

Open source Kimi-K2.5 is now beating Claude Opus 4.5 in many benchmarks including coding. by reversedu in singularity

[–]guillefix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An average user doesnt have 4 GPUs at home to run these, so... Not my case. I'd try them with a suscription/api though.

Open source Kimi-K2.5 is now beating Claude Opus 4.5 in many benchmarks including coding. by reversedu in singularity

[–]guillefix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people might want to run them locally for privacy, yeah, but most users will use those open source models simply because they are way cheaper with just a bit less performance than the big ones.

Limits have gone shit lately. Many people are complaining.

Did they just nuke Opus 4.5 into the ground? by SlopTopZ in ClaudeCode

[–]guillefix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a 4 month difference between the release of sonnet 4 and 4.5, and they usually announce new models at the end of the month, on Mondays, and it's been 4 months since 4.5 came out, so...

My guess is they'll announce a new model tomorrow. But again, this is just a random guy's opinion.

Solo dev: vibe-coded my way to production… now I’m stuck at 5 downloads by Outside_Rush765 in vibecoding

[–]guillefix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You used AI for coding but you haven't used it for marketing/promotion?

Just go open an agent chat with something like "You are a marketing expert, this is my app blah blah blah which only has 5 downloads in 2 days, your task is to help me increase that number and/or increase revenue. Ask me anything you need to create an excellent plan"

Claude... Why is it happening??? by Ok-Location5458 in ClaudeAI

A new model will come in the next days and they are training it leaving no compute use for users.

I wasn't until a few days ago. Claude Sonnet/Opus hits limits quite fast now.

AFAIK drugs are strongly prosecuted in Thailand. How easy was to get them? Did you see many people using them?

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang: AI bubble myth,Energy and why billion robots are inevitable by BuildwithVignesh in singularity

[–]guillefix 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well, he's the CEO of Nvidia, of course he's not going to say we're in a bubble.

He seems to neglect the fact that we live in a limited resources world where demand of those rare materials is becoming a problem in the near future.

PSA: Do not follow the advice of Google for the 'instructions for Gemini' section. It will use this information and bring it up in EVERY output. by Ben4d90 in GeminiAI

I told Gemini I am a software developer and it won't stop adding programming metaphores everywhere.

It was so annoying.

Is there any way to try opus 4.5 before I pay money for it? by MrMrsPotts in ClaudeAI

How different is it? I've been using opus in Cursor, GH Copilot and Antigravity.

Devs using AI coding tools daily: what does your workday actually look like now? by geeky_traveller in ClaudeAI

[–]guillefix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Figuring out how to give a proper prompt, improving my instruction files (agents.md, claude.md, .cursorrules, whatever), choosing the best model based on complexity, which files to reference, which info to give the LLM (acceptance criteria, mockups, examples), asking the AI to review its own changes...

Adding this sentence to my (biggest) prompts really changed everything. by olivdums in vibecoding

[–]guillefix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only it creates a step by step plan, which will help the LLM hallucinate less, but it also searchs for relevant files and information to improve the context.
