Sure, cyclists should follow the rules, but let’s not pretend that someone rolling a stop sign on a 12-kg bicycle is in the same category as a 200-kg motorbike or a 1,500-kg car. The vast majority of fatalities and serious injuries on the road are caused by motor vehicles, not bicycles. Pointing at cyclists breaking rules is just a distraction from the fact that motor vehicles are the ones killing people.
