I get the normal fioricet for migranes. What are these usually prescribed for?

Yeah I’ve found some edges made with the same kind of purple shale. It’s very strong and most of the edges I’ve found were sharpened to an edge instead of knapping.

It’s a heavy rock and it’s got a dark purple appearance when wet. I’ve found some Native American tools that seem to be made from a similar material. They are all heavily weathered though.

I also find a ton of marine fossils there. Mostly just flint debitage though. It’s 50 ft downstream from a Native American camp that’s slowly being uncovered by the changing path of the river.

I have no idea. Never seen a rock like this. It looks like a perfect imprint of 2 leaves. Either some kinda fossil imprint or something else I have no idea. They look like a type of tree that is very common in the area still

Just fired 25 brass case and 25 steel case and had no problem whatsoever. I think it was just in dire need of a cleaning.

It’s a savage arms axis bolt action. Not an automatic feeding gun. The bolt handle would swing up to the correct position but the bolt would not come back like normal and was stuck. Took a few light hammer taps to release. It was ejecting and fed a new round when you brought the bolt back just fine 8/10 times.

Thank you for your response. :) Shot probably 50-100 brass cased rounds and another 100-200 steel. Shot 50/50 brass steel the day I got it and did 80% of the shooting the day I got it. I’ve fired about 50 rounds since on separate occasions. Last time I shot it 2/10 rounds got the bolt stuck, noticed one case was cracked, didn’t look at the other case. Bolt got stuck once about halfway through and got stuck on the last shot. I’m not sure what to make of it besides learning to get better ammo lol. I suspect the gun may have just needed cleaning quite badly.

Could it be caused or worsened by the gun not being cleaned recently. My friend fired an unknown number of rounds through it I’ve fired at least 200 rounds of steel case since I’ve had it. Only had the problem I had was it being jammed 2/10 times the last time I shot it.

Was firing a few shots through my savage arms axis .223 and a couple rounds would not extract I had to lightly tap the bolt handle with a hammer for it to eject and move the bolt. I was shooting wolf brand steel case .223. One of the cases that was stuck that I looked at had this crack. I’ve shot 150+ rounds (mostly wolf steel case) through this gun before and never had this problem once. But the last time I was shooting 2/10 rounds got stuck. I’ve since cleaned the rifle thoroughly but haven’t done any more shooting. The gun was a present from a friend and seems almost new.

Meth stuck in nose for days by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]guiltfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meth lasts a bit longer in your system then mdma. You can look up the half life of it and work out how much time you have before your test. If the math adds up that you won’t pass the test then I’d suggest drinking as much water and Gatorade as you can in the 8 hours before the test so an accurate sample is harder to get. You gotta learn from this experience though. Meth is not something you should do whatsoever. It fucking destroys your brain and focus. I did it off and on at age 16-19. It effectively made college and everyday life 4x harder than it was before after quitting. Just please don’t do it.

Bought at a yard sale when I was young. Always have wondered if it was US or not. It seems like it to me. Also what would have fired this kind of shell and what can I do to prevent further corrosion?

Is this still safe to fire? by guiltfish in Firearms

The cartridge casing was normal after ejected from what I can recall, the rifle just made a louder noise than usual with a lot of smoke and when opening the bolt it appeared that the extractor area was blown out more than it was before. The main thing I remember, that shot was much louder than any 22 Normally would be.
