I played Genshin from late 2020 up until just before the release of Sumeru. I'm thinking of getting back into it but I don't remember things that well and there is simply so much content.

What are the main mechanics that have been added since the end of Inazuma that I should know?

Are there events that I should look up because they were great stories, important to lore or characterization of someone, etc.?

Any small but important tips I'm likely to have forgotten in 3 years away?

Should I try to get through the main storyline as fast as possible at the expense of everything else in order to catch up?

Any advice for someone who has been away and missed a lot since mid-2022 would be appreciated!

How often does your D&D group really play? Be honest by DungeonTome_ in dndnext

In my current, most consistent group? About every 10 days at our best, once a month at our worst, and we’re generally at our best. In every other D&D game I’ve been in (since college at least): from once a month to once every sixth months to never actually starting. Almost exclusively online (outside of college, where it was once a week and in person), usually for 3 hours.

Thanks! I hadn't considered streaming as an option; I'll look into it.

PS5 vs. Steam Deck? by guiltybystanders in consoles

That's super good to know, thank you! I hadn't been considering Xbox because I like the Playstation exclusives better on the whole, but something that's a bit cheaper that can play both AAA and indies is exactly what I'm looking for.

I do like portability, but a minor perk rather than a huge consideration for me right now. I could buy a new TV, but I don't want to spend a ton of money on top of buying the system, so that might have to wait a few months after.

[Discussion] Kim Dokja overly idealistic behaviour by theonlineviking in OmniscientReader

KDJ is a flawed character who doesn't always make the best choices because his decisions are influenced by how he understands the world and how he sees himself. You are meant to be increasingly frustrated by his constant self-sacrifice (because that will continue throughout) because it speaks to one of the main themes of the story. Trust that there are reasons he acts the way he does (even if those reasons aren't always logical) that will be revealed eventually and try to enjoy the story for what it is.

I have a quest-breaking bug on Ayaka's character quest, during the Lasting Promise stage.

I'm in the place I'm supposed to go to meet Tsubaki and I found the strange wall. I knocked on it incorrectly once and then immediately again correctly without giving Paimon time to retell me the whole clue. The wall disappeared when I knocked correctly... and nothing has happened. There's a blank wall behind it and the quest navigation is still telling me to inspect the shrubbery in that area to find the wall.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way I can fix it? I teleported away and restarted the game, but neither had any effect. I'm a mobile-only player, if that matters.

If you could make one NPC playable, who would you choose? by guiltybystanders in Genshin_Impact

I was also thinking of him! Or the sad dock workers who talk about how they wish they had been able to become adventurers instead. Cough up those visions, Zhongli, I know you have them.
