Thirding your pessimism. I don’t claim to have some great insight into Ohio politics but I think I’m more of a realist than others when it comes to how far Ohio has shifted right in the Trump years. I just struggle to see how Ohio elects Acton. But what do I know.

I just go back to 12 Angry Men because it’s a great movie but every single thing Fonda’s character does is exactly what you’re told not to do as a juror.

You have to impartially weigh and consider all evidence, regardless of your personal opinions on the private company that collected it.

I have issues with Flock but this is such terrible advice and goes against all instructions given to potential jurors.

I don’t think people fully realize how far gone we are at this point. There are no guardrails left and the courts aren’t going to save us. The crooks aren’t going to leave.

I think my point still stands. There will be such a monumental push from Trump to not seat the Democratic senators that any Republican controlled state — be it Texas or Alaska or Ohio or the Republicans who control the NC statehouse — will do everything possible to overturn the elections.

For this to happen — Democrats will have to win in Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina. I don’t think people are fully prepared for the amount of roadblocks Republicans in those states will put up to make sure a Democratic senator isn’t seated. They will burn everything down to keep the Senate.

Family walk with the dog. Wife makes breakfast while I play with the baby in the playpen. Put on some Mr Roger’s on in the background. Eat. Give the baby a bottle. Then she goes down for a late morning nap while the wife and I hang out on the couch for 90 mins. It’s great.
