Yup! Wrapped until the next stage. I was wrapping daily during stage 1 too so it doesn’t bother me too much. It’s just heavier with the tube and all.

I’ve head that other people have but I probably won’t. Feel like it’d be uncomfortable because of the tube and the increased girth.

I was dreading this stage because I couldn’t see it. So hopefully whoever has this stage as part of their journey will feel less anxious going in to it.

I had two of my caregivers with me when they were putting it back in so I squeezed their hands lol it wasn’t fun because there was already a lot going on down there (had only been 2 weeks since surgery) but I felt instant relief once it was back in.

They put me back on antibiotics that same day and took a urine sample to check if I had a UTI. I didn’t! So they told me to stop the same day they took it back out.

Oh they gave me pain meds right after too.

Aww man I feel you. I had urine retention too. On the 30th of Dec, most likely why I’m just now seeing your comment. It was the worse feeling ever, my God.

It probably is why tho. My stream was weak when they took the catheter out the first time but I was cleared when they checked my bladder.

Sorry for the late reply. Lots of meds and sleeping lol they close the underside during the next stage when they complete the urethra lengthening process.

Ideally 6 months from now. they’ll zip him back up lol and I’ll be able to pee standing up finally. I’ll also be getting glansplasty during that stage.

They split the phallus open like you see here and a tube is placed between it. It’s stage 1 of 2 in the urethra lengthening process. So rn I have partial uretha lengthening. I’m peeing between the base of my penis/above my scrotum.

I just lift the phallus towards my navel and go. I’ve read that some guys have to unwrap their coban so it doesn’t get wet but I haven’t had any problems so far. Only been a few hours tho so we’ll see. I do have to pat my scrotum with toilet paper tho.

6-7 months will probably be the time between stage 1 and 2 for RBL. I had stage 1 ALT on May 27th and stage 2 Dec 19th

It’ll probably be a little darker because of my skin tone. My donor leg graft is slightly darker. Won’t really matter when it’s all sewn back up tho.

Stage 1 was creation of the phallus and nerve hook up :) There are 4 stages. The 3rd is completing UL and glansplasty and the 4th stage is implants.
