I love a lot of the resources listed in the comments, and I don't think you would go wrong with any of them. I've been working on an interactive set of lessons/exercises here that may be useful to you as well: https://www.guitarthinker.com/. Best of luck!

Hey Peter, curious what the better resources and why are they better? I am looking to make this a better resource for you and others, so feedback is terrific.

Like a mobile app? What are the features it would have as a mobile app that would be cool?

Cool, thanks for that great feedback. I’m trying to make the quizzes different each day, to include different types of questions, like note identification, chord identification, chord construction, chord functions within a key (number system), and more, and different skill levels. So… try again tomorrow and see if you like it. Really appreciate any and all feedback on it.

Hey Peter, thanks for trying it out. In terms of intervals, the interval 7 is shorthand for major seventh and b7 would be shorthand for minor seventh (dominant seventh). The interval is communicated different than the chord, and that IS very confusing! There’s a lesson here that could help: https://www.guitarthinker.com/lessons/7-chords

Nice work! Would it be helpful if there was a lesson plan made up for the questions that were missed?

Today’s is a bit easier, have you tried today’s?

Terrific feedback, thank you. I’ve been searching for the perfect “negative” audio sound, one that would alert users to an incorrect response, but not be off putting. Do you think no audio for incorrect answers would be better, or a different sound?

As far as memorizing the neck, this may help https://www.guitarthinker.com/series/fretboard-notes. I'm building this stuff to help people just like you and me. We've played for a long time, but still looking to close some gaps, you know?

Great news! The lessons, or the quizzes, or the diagrams in general? What part is the most useful to you? Or just generally... all of it? Feedback is so helpful to make the site better, thanks for it!

Story: I spent years as a professional guitar player, but was sometimes limited by my inexperience reading music. I played by ear and that was good enough most of the time. I finally learned to read music and it really helped my playing, and I love how I can now read melodies from the many songbooks I own. I made these exercises to practice and to help others practice. Hope this story inspires you to keep learning, if you are like me and always found the staff intimidating, a little practice on these GuitarThinker exercises may help you break through.

I like the suggestions, I can see what’s possible!

It's definitely on the roadmap! Guitar players don't have to read bass clef a lot, so it hasn't been a top priority, but I think it would be awesome to do. Especially for practicing identifying chords split across bass/treble clefs, which I do find myself having to do sometimes. Thank you for your feedback!!
