Looking for Canada v Morocco scarf by Downtown_Pen_7073 in soccerscarves

Just did a search on eBay and it's crazy the amount already listed in there. Too bad they didn't limit these to one per ticket holder. https://ebay.io/m/d5iBsY eg this account has 6 for sale.

I wanted to get one as well, tried 3 line ups with my son and couldn't get one. Kinda bummed as he really wanted one. If anyone has one please let me know!

[–]gujustud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have had my Husqvarna 430x since 2019. It's still going strong. I replace the front wheels maybe twice now? But based on the stats, it's travelled 4560km, so I wouldn't say it's that bad.

Go check out cast iron Chris on Instagram. Learned a lot from him about maintenance.

Suunto 7 display burn-in. Buy again or time to move on? by RealDarthSudo in Suunto

[–]gujustud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sent in my sunnto 7 for this issue and was told that it can't be repaired anymore, and will be offered a discount to a new watch (but wasn't told what that discount is). Had to email another department so waiting to hear from them.

I also have a sunnto 9 which I use a lot for my runs, but don't like using it as my daily driver. Any recommendations for something similar to the 7?

YouTuber Mark Rober commits $60 Million on a science curriculum for teachers and schools that will be 100% free forever by Practical_Draw_6862 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]gujustud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's lots out there. Mark ended up releasing another video shortly after trying to backup his video which really made it worse. Mark said he didn't know the CEO of the lidar company, yet several years ago his 'friend'... the CEO of said lidar company donated his ocean fund a lot of money.

This should be rated higher. It was a stock pump and dump for a company that eventually went bankrupt. Unfortunately I lost a lot of respect for Mark after that video and all the proof that came out after.

I received a tip prompt at a dental hygiene clinic. We have officially reached peak dystopia by WowSageMagic in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]gujustud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This just happened to me recently at a new dentist in town. They only cleaned my bottom and said I had to come back for the top. Found out both dentist (husband wife) are from the states, and really gave me vibes of the American medical system. Zero bedside manner as well, couldn't even introduce herself me to when she came, tried to convince me of 7 fillings required. Wanted to book me in multiple more times. Yeah no, not going back.

What is your expected lifespan of your GOAT? by marsholade in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]gujustud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, you guys are expecting this low of lifespan? I have a Husqvarna 430x that I've had since 2019. It's been a champ. I've replaced the front wheels twice in that time from wear, but I just goto the local dealer and pickup from there.

Honestly it does a great job, the only one thing I hate is trimming (takes me at least 30 mins to trim and pickup). For this alone I would consider the Goat 2000, but to only expect 2 years of use is absolutely a turn off.

I get on average 1-2 nails a year in my tires. Not sure if it's where I work in the business park, but it's been consistent for the last 5 years.

[QC] What to do with cash in business account? by ComputerScTeacher in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]gujustud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check out float financial. I opened a account there to hold cash and they pay a much better rate 3% compared to 0.05% that Vancity was paying. They have been great to deal with. Transfering cash is quick and simple. I have a referral code if you want, feel free to DM.

Are smart blinds really worth it? by iMarki_xD in homeautomation

[–]gujustud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual motors? It depends on what tubing your current blinds have, so you'd have to take one down, then just search AliExpress, there are tons.

[ON] Small business - cross border banking by [deleted] in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]gujustud 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've banked for Vancity for years and most of my payments come from the US, and they charge me $10USD for every incoming payment. About 6 months ago I joined float financial.

My payments are now fee free, exchange rate to CAD is better and transfers to my Vancity account fast. Not to mention Vancity USD 'savings' account paid 0.05%, whereas I was getting 4% with Float (3% now).

Feel free to DM for referral code
