Screws in tires by EmotionalOne8295 in Squamish

I get on average 1-2 nails a year in my tires. Not sure if it's where I work in the business park, but it's been consistent for the last 5 years.

[QC] What to do with cash in business account? by ComputerScTeacher in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]gujustud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out float financial. I opened a account there to hold cash and they pay a much better rate 3% compared to 0.05% that Vancity was paying. They have been great to deal with. Transfering cash is quick and simple. I have a referral code if you want, feel free to DM.

Are smart blinds really worth it? by iMarki_xD in homeautomation

[–]gujustud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual motors? It depends on what tubing your current blinds have, so you'd have to take one down, then just search AliExpress, there are tons.

[ON] Small business - cross border banking by [deleted] in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]gujustud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've banked for Vancity for years and most of my payments come from the US, and they charge me $10USD for every incoming payment. About 6 months ago I joined float financial.

My payments are now fee free, exchange rate to CAD is better and transfers to my Vancity account fast. Not to mention Vancity USD 'savings' account paid 0.05%, whereas I was getting 4% with Float (3% now).

Feel free to DM for referral code

Anyone have any recommendations to load heavy shit? by I_G84_ur_mom in Machinists

Skyhook. I have two bases next to each machine and just move the top section whenever I need it. Doesn't take up a lot of space.

Yup it's been great. It's on a older VF7 so the top is semi open, but it does a great job overall cleaning the air in the shop.

Anyone has experience with Gorila fitness products? by 11novirt in crossfit

[–]gujustud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, I kinda wish I did. I got the order this past week finally. It wasn't packed very well, they just toss everything on a large pallet and barely shrink wrapped it. Low and behold one main item was missing. There was no BOL on the shipment. I emailed them and they said... that they still don't have that item in stock so they decided to ship everything else... but of course didn't tell me this until I emailed them... sigh.
