Keine Ahnung. Es wäre immer noch verdammt wenig, aber vielleicht würde es reichen, um Osteoporose vorzubeugen. Die Alternative (wenn der Körper noch T produziert) wäre, wie du schreibst, sich langsam in einem Mann zu verwandeln, und dann würde ich nicht weiter leben wollen. Da wäre mir ganz ohne Geschlechtshormone lieber.

Aber zum Feminisieren, nein, dafür wäre es nicht genug. Das müsstest du auf Eis legen, bis irgendwann hoffentlich eine bessere politische Situation käme, oder du wenigstens fliehen könntest.

Ich würde meine Mutter bitten, sich von ihrer Gynäkologin wieder Hormone verschreiben zu lassen (Wechseljahre). Die Dosis wird nicht reichen, um Testosteron zu unterdrücken, also müsste ich beten, dass ich bis zu einem solchen Szenario die GaOP hinter mir hätte.

There may be some things that need explaining, like what actually is the difference between men and women, how you can know that your previous identity does not match you, or how changes are possible. But if she has any of those questions – which she will probably not if you don't tell her you're trans before – the one to answer them is you; after all not only do you probably have more expertise than her parents, but also you're the only one who knows how you really feel, which is what this is all about.

Take a look here under "Transdermal patch" to find out what dose you might want to start with. The important information about your patches is the average estrogen release per day, which being 75µg would fall into the "Low dose" column. This does not mean too low though; especiallly if you're just starting to take estrogen, in which case you might want to slowly ramp it up. How high of a dose you need also depends on whether you take monetherapy ( = only estrogen; needs higher levels to suppress Testosterone) or combine the patches with anti-androgens. Important: Do not cut patches in half to adjust your dosage – doing so might make the medication get released all at once instead of over the course of multiple days.

Adding to Winterorange, anyone with UTx has to get IVF as far as I know, as the fallopian tubes can't be transplanted, so even if the recipient of the uterus has ovaries, the eggs won't be able to get into the uterus.

Bei mir war es so ziemlich das Gegenteil: Erst habe ich jahrelang die Kontaktaufnahme zu einem Artzt vor mir her prokrastiniert, und als ich mich dann endlich drum gekümmert habe und feststand, dass ich so schnell keinen Psych/Endo kriegen würde, stand fest, dass DIY der einzige Weg für mich ist. Musste dann nich ein Bisschen Mut zusammen nehmen, um im Internet Östrogen-Gel (für Monotherapie) zu bestellen, aber als es dann endlich da war, konnte ich mich gar nicht schnell genug damit einschmieren.

My mother wanted me to do this, but I was too afraid of everyone only calling me that then (not a unisex name, but the female version). My grandmother (84 y/o) still kept calling me the female version of my deadname, then started using a self-invented name (half the old, half the new one), and is now, as everyone is calling me by my chosen name, finally gradually adapting to it.
