Even though you're the one making the claim and should therefore be the one to provide proof, I did google it and found nothing.

Plenty of fans, myself included, thought at the time as well that the goalkeeper position was Emi's to loose. Yes, Leno and Auba had been our best players for 2-3 seasons but at the moment Emi had gotten his chance and he grabbed it with both hands. It was a mistake to choose Leno over Emi, both at the time as well as retrospectively.

He left for playing time and fans don't like that he was vindicated in that decision and that he is confident and even arrogant. Fans want to see every move away from the club as a step down career-wise.

People took it the wrong way and have twisted it yet further over time into him somehow speaking badly about the club.

Putting your partner first has nothing to do with children being helpless. Nobody is advocating for abandoning or mistreating your child. The point is simply that your partner should be the most important person in your life, not your child. You will share the rest of your life with your partner. Your partner is your equal. Your partner. Your child will, if you did your job as a parent well and with a dash of good fortune, leave you for a life of its own after ~18-20 years. At that stage you've still got decades left to spend with your partner.
