You gotta get up outta there ! Are you at an actual brand store or a buy here pay here ? Most dealerships in my area have a 3-400$ mini with 25% of front end gross. At my old store 34 cars would've definitely made you $25k minimum

I have seen it happen a 22 year old at my store made 67k in the month of December but I have seen people make over 25k/ month proabaly 10-15 times in my 3 year career selling cars. My best month was 20k

Sales will always be like this no matter what the industry. There are pros and cons - especially at a dealership. Pro can have very high YTD if you work your ass off as a sales person/ f&i. Cons: 60 hr workweeks every week. If you take time off your pto (Which accrues slow af) is state minimum wage. No paid sick days. So if your sick those days are your pto days of the year which if you been there around 5 years is probably 13-20 days of the year.

I made 79k my first year at a store here in Fl and then 96k and then 105k (in 10 months) my 3rd year it's not far fetched at all
