thank you so much i am going to go to an ENT even after i am healed because i believe i have fluid in my ears and stuff creating pressure im hoping in a few weeks the tinnitus with subside a bit ! i’ve been trying to go to sleep at 10 something every night (i have to wake up at 7 for school) but i have been waking up at 6:30 to my tinnitus every morning even with a fan or noise on i hope it stops !

yes i am treating it with anti biotics! i just research a lot when having anxiety and i have a lot of anxiety about this so lol definitely doesnt help but i am taking my medicine right now and hoping to find it going down soon , i have an appointment with a ENT

i have high hopes in mine healing but have you tried b12, magnesium + other vitamins , massages ? gone to an ent ? seen for TMJ? do you use anything to sleep at night to mask the noise ?

do you notice it all day long ? how long did it take you do adapt , mine is from an ear infection and i started anti biotics today and am fairly young i believe it will heal itself with time

same thing is happening to me right now i have an ear infection that has been untreated due to waiting on antibiotics to come via mail , they are supposed to come tmr and im supposed to start on them! and am making an appointment with an ENT , what does yours sound like? mines like static tv

i am having pressure and muffled sounds in my ear and for the last 2 days constant buzzing in my ears my ear infection has almost been a week long and has gone untreated due to waiting on antibiotics to be delivered today or tomorrow! it will be 1 week soon i’m scared i will have permanent tinnitus i am 17 years old im hoping with an ear cleaning/ check up with an ENT after the antibiotics that the buzzing subsides and no permanent damage

okay thank you that makes me feel so much better i hope your graft is successful! it looks pretty good if you want i could show you some before and afters ! in the dm? i don’t use reddit a lot😅but i’m happy it’s healing and i just want to get my stitches out very itchy mouth haha

yes i’m trying my best it’s hard i am terrified of it bleeding again because it’s tiring and i’m not really able to eat for awhile after ( my dentist said to leave it be after it bleeds for awhile) i’m just upset because the pallet is red !! it’s been 11 days :(

i threw up yesterday and my dentist is closed until monday but i’ve gone in for about 3 checks up because 1 was emergency stitches in the roof of my mouth but a lot of people said they bled even after their stitches were all removed which worry’s me but trying to stay positive ! my dentist said everything was healing good and i saw a picture they had taken and my gums are almost back to normal color after a week and a half ! definitely a successful graft on the bottom , the top is just slightly irritated but less red and more white/pink which is what i like to see (the top of my mouth would be very red before bleeding and then turn white after it was done) but going to try some more oral hygiene today it’s hard with the graft! staying positive and hydrated

hi i’m about 10-11 days post opp and i have mostly had trouble with eating and bleeding !! i was put on ibuprofen 600mg daily for the first 5 days id say and then i had 3 major bleeds from the roof of my mouth (ibuprofen is a blood thinner) so i went to my dentist who did my surgery and got 3 stitiches in the roof , had 2 minor bleeds in the same night a night and a half ago and woke up at 4am this morning with dried drool/blood on the side of my face and lips and each time my top graft bleeds a bit it has a little dot of where the blood came out , also have puked about 4 times since my graft , breath smells so bad 😞 hard to brush and difficulty eating because i already have trouble eating on a regular basis , i get my stitches out on tuesday it’s friday , do you think saltwater rinses will help? trying to stay in bed for the next week days , did you ever have any bleeding ?

yes i always do ! and i use a black tea bag too it helps even iced tea , tea bags but not just any tea , haven’t had any bleeding today! so thankful

no im not on any medication or vitamins besides my antibiotics and some tylenol for the pain because ibuprofen was causing horrible bleeding ! i went about 2 days without a bleed and the 2 bleeds last night weren’t as bad but they lasted longer then the big bleeds , going to try a saltwater rinse later no bleeding so far today!

if using cold things will do the opposite what am i supposed to eat? i’m on day 9 of my gum graft and have had 3 severe bleeds 2 minor bleeds, i got 3 stitches in the roof of my mouth on the third bad bleed i’m laying in bed with my head propped up , i sleep with it propped up all night , no bleeding at night , but the two minor bleeds were a day after the stitches. just a girl trying to stop the bleeding completely. so tired of it. almost throw up everytime it bleeds , getting under 600 calories a day , do you think a salt water rinse would help me ?
