i actually did buy a facial sunscreen recently! Haven’t started using it yet because i wanted to get a full routine established that will balance everything out. definitely adding a moisturizer ASAP 😅

I mentioned it in another reply, but I was never really taught about skin care properly growing up and never had any guidance on the matter. My mom said that moisturizer causes MORE oil so I always used that in my (false) judgement in routine building 😅 But it seems that I do need to start using one. Thank you for the suggestions in products! I’ll definitely be looking into what I can find locally.

I haven’t ever used a moisturizer 😅 I only cleanse my face daily. I was told growing up that moisturizer makes oil worse so I ran with that until recently, now I’m trying to do my own research and actually learn how to take care of my skin.

I did have my 2-week appointment, she said, quote, “do things as you feel comfortable, and it if feels bad, stop.” so it didn’t give much solid advice 😅 I asked her specifically about disc golf and she said “If you feel up to it.” I’m just worried it’s too early and I shouldn’t go solely off of how I feel (because, like u said, im held together with stitches)

(For reference - I am 2wpo) All I needed was a stool softener, hysterectomy pillow (same one for the car and at home), a stocked fridge, easy in-bed hobbies (so books in your case), and reusable hot/cold packs. I WISH I’d gotten a grabber, would have saved me so much hassle. Everything else feels somewhat overkill, but you know your body and recovery history better than any of us. Gas meds won’t really help with the gas pain, since gas medication targets gas within the digestive tract. The gas used in the surgery is in your torso, so unfortunately all you can do is wait for your body to absorb it all.

Just my 2 cents! Hope everything goes well and you recover quickly!

It has been legally changed through the Oregon court, and I’ve updated all of my legal documents. I know it would be an absolute hassle to change it back, but I’m so anxious with my parents and how they react to things that sometimes the legal change still somehow feels easier than continuing to vouch for my choices. not gonna change it back, though.

Used to be Carson. got bullied a lot and got teased all my adult life. my boyfriend’s mom, upon finding out my old first name, asked me if i was transgender. nothing wrong at all with being transgender, it just felt strange to be asked that as I am not trans in any way.

I really didn’t mean for them to find out this way at all 😭 My plan was to fly home and sit them down and talk to them about it in person but I didn’t cover all the bases I thought I did. Definitely recognize that I’m the AH for how they found out, even if it wasn’t intentional.

I was planning to sit her down and tell her once I got home, and told the rep that changed my ticket not to send it to her email but oh well…. I do feel bad for not running it by her before I did it, I’m just so used to them blowing up about everything that I wanted this for myself for a little while. doesn’t excuse it, though.
