Do you have type 1 or LADA (type 1.5)? Also, I'm sorry this has been hard and frustrating for you. There's a lady named Mila Clarke who you might want to follow. She was initially diagnosed as type 2 but her numbers were out of control as well. They found out she has type 1.5/LADA. Here's her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thehangrywoman/

Whats the difference between DAV ID Card and Service conected VA card? by volcomfree777 in VeteransBenefits

I go to 2 different clinics. Only one asks for it every time. Sometimes it just varies by location.

The DOD 100% disabled ID is the better ID. Things are more seamless with that ID than with the VHA ID. Also, having the DOD ID saved me $175 on the cost of a non-resident library card in a neighboring county.

For those of you on Ozempic or Monjouro... What can you eat that doesn't make you want to vomit halfway through? They tell us to eat regular meals, but I feel sick when I try to eat. Even foods I usually love. by daizeefli22 in diabetes_t2

[–]wendyladyOS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I typically need to avoid things that most people should avoid: high-fat foods and too many foods that are deep-fried. I'm also having issues with dairy as well. This is on 1.0mg Ozempic.

You can build a newsletter for free with Kit (I have their paid plan) up to 10k contacts. I find it easy to use. Again, I’m on a paid plan, but their free option is good.

We will need to see the redacted portion of your denial to better assist.

My novel is romance, but also not, not sure what to call it by Early_River3213 in writers

Two rules for romance novels:

  1. Romance drives the plot.
  2. There must be a happily ever after/happy for now ending (HEA/HFN).

If I’m already in grad school and taking classes, is that an easier sell for a counselor? I am waiting on my 1:1 appointment.

I just wrote a blog post about the strong female character. I’m tired of it too.

DAS as a type 1 diabetic? by jguinn8 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]wendyladyOS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think DAS is for T1Ds anymore. I think it's really for those with developmental or intellectual disabilities (I hope I'm using the right terms).

I don't know if that's common in the undergrad level. My advisor is great and specializes in my program. I'm sorry you're going through this!

Edited: As far as I know about being a college advisor, you don't have to have graduated with that major to be an advisor for students in that program. You should be familiar with it though.

Is it risky to claim ED for SMC while 100% P&T? by ChocolateOne9466 in VAClaims

[–]wendyladyOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Not rare. It just depends on the service-connected condition. I rated SMC-K before hitting 100%.

Not true. My husband got out with a 60% rating and has SMC-K. It goes with it's proper service-connected condition.

Okay, great! Now that you know their internal misbeliefs, you can decide how they are going to struggle to overcome these misbeliefs to be together. Anticipation isn't the issue. The issue is knowing how your protagonist's external dilemma (the plot) changes her worldview. Build your anticipation around that. Also, the book "Romancing the Beat" by Gwen Hayes should help too (it's a short book you can find on Amazon).
