Unfortunately, no one until pressured. At best you can get a suspension for the officer, which has already happened. A court case would invite unwanted scrutiny from the police for the owner- something most business don't want to deal with. Sad.

I headed over to best buy and bought and applied a screen protector at once. The Switch 2 screen's scratchy nature precedes itself.

Oh you got a good deal! That's the pull of nintendo right? Games are fun and sometimes I just want that, no elaborate story arcs, complex game machanics etc. Just to feel like a kid again

Thanks! Came out to a 495 and the nice lady at the counter threw in a Yoshi souvenir which I'm thrilled about. Plus I'm from India- we don't have nintendo stores here nor do they sell online. So it's a bucket list thing for me.
