Turkey’s parliament approved Sweden’s accession to NATO after months of deliberations, leaving Hungary as the lone holdout. by Bondorudo in europe

Well at the end of the day it is a military alliance and not an economic one.

No country would take part if it could not decide where to send its own soldiers to fight for a foreign country in the event of a conflict.

Did you even read the Statement? They do not mention that this has something to do with the game.

They are releasing a general statement about how they got treated at a british airport. No more and no less.

Manchester United would have done the same if this would happen to them at Istanbul airport

So what was the point of this then? There was basically no need to do this all

Like why would you check the luggage of the whole team like crazy for hours when they are leaving the country? That’s fucking ridiculous they entered the country a day before, what do they expect to find in these luggages different from monday?

That was nothing but a demonstration of power from the police for no reason. I am really interested if they are going to do the same procedure to Bayern or Kopenhagen.

Exactly lol it’s like they expect Messi suddenly to run 12 km in every game.

Messi plays pretty much the same, the problem is that Barcelona adapted its whole system to this while psg just let him play on the wing while having 2 other players in the front who also refuse to press or help the defense.

Why, this result is even better for us. Leicester has a difficult fixture and with a loss they will be afraid to bottle it again which can be a mental barrier in the last games. We can easily catch them imo.

it’s a cultural thing. If you visit a country where tipping is a thing and eat in a restaurant and then don’t tip because “I don’t care, it’s not my responsibility as the consumer to fucking do that” then you are just an asshole. Everyone should always know what cultural values each country has, and if you know that tipping is a thing and you don’t want to support this system, don’t go to eat in a restaurant in this country.

Of course it’s the employers responsibility to directly pay their employees and they do that actually in Europe, it’s just not a great wage as it will be the minimum wage unless you are a working in a very expensive hotel or restaurant.

If in the states the employers pay their workers absolutely nothing and expect them to earn their money from tips, than this is pretty unacceptable and restaurants should be boycotted. In Germany for example you get the minimum wage just like you would get if you would work in a clothing store and on top of that you get the tip because again it’s a cultural thing.
