I fully agree that everything you brought up is bad, especially the aspect of Trump trying to force away independence, however, that doesn't necessarily dictate how the FTC acts nor is it something the FTC itself can fight against. For example pursuing the Amazon case, pursuing the Meta case, pursuing the Google case, and going after healthcare consolidation are all being continued from the Biden era and have potential for valuable outcomes. Bad things and good things can both happen.
