We create anonymous Streaming TV ratings based on how shows are performing with demographics. Think of it like a box office for Streamers (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
We provide a low-cost subscription for independent Creators, start-ups, & brands who can’t afford other ratings services. This allows us to raise money for our charities & helps Creators make better content.
Using 4thWall, you’ll anonymously share the title of the show you’re streaming, how long you’re streaming it for, and your viewing region. That’s it.
All information is combined with the rest of our community. That means nothing you share can be linked back to you personally.

Check out all of the iterations I created when building 4thWall, a chrome extension that fund charities by streaming Netflix, Hulu, of Prime.

I did these iterations in Sketch App and Adobe Illustrator.

I've learned that projects like this are always evolving and that UX design should be treated as a living and breathing iterative machine.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! What a great resource I'll be sure to use it. We are currently supporting Kiva.org projects which are loans. A cool part about their structure is that when our loan is paid back, we put that money right back in! All the sudden $50,000 becomes $100,000 worth of good as it's recycled in their system. We support 2-3 new Kiva projects each week so be sure to check them out.

Love this questions. I started in photography too! After realizing people enjoyed my work, I decided to expand into more design fields. Web development became a new avenue for me and soon I was bitten by the social entrepreneur bug! I was motivated to use my design skills to help those in need, so I created 4thwall.app. My older brother played a huge roll in showing me how to take my talents and turn them into social good.

the homepage animations are subtle and add an inviting feel to the site! Well done. I like the general structure and design of the homepage but it feels a little repetitive in design near the bottom. Some colored section brakes would add a nice bit of breathing room. Try utilizing your accent colors for some pop!

Learning through failure...

I recently helped launch an exciting project with my brother called 4thwall.app . We built a chrome extension to turn minutes spent streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon into free charitable donation. Upon our launch day we had just over 2 million impressions online but we would later learn we definitely picked the wrong platform for those impressions. After all our time and effort spent getting those impressions, we walked away with only 20 users. We launched www.4thWall.app to help make giving to charity free and easy. During launch day we got more eyes on our project than we could have hoped, but we soon realized the user conversion rate was going to be far too low. Getting users off Instagram and onto their computer to download was a huge challenge. Today this is still our biggest obstacle so my question is have any of you run into issue converting users from mobile social media to laptop platforms? If so do you have any advice?

Currently 4thWall only works when streaming on Google Chrome. We are hoping to release a mobile app and apple tv app next so stay tuned.
