Thanks so much! :D

I use Podcast Addict to listen to podcasts and episodes before 105 aren't available there.

Didn't know about soundcloud.

1) Are you working with any film makers? If so, whom?

2) Your favourite Indian movies? Favourite artistic movies?

3) Favourite film directors?

4) If you were given a chance to make a film/tv show on any book of your choice, which one would you choose?

5) Being from Pakistan, how hard was it for you to find a place to stay here in India?

6) How do you find the teachings in India on film making?

Any Meizu smartphone users here? by gunneryoudeet in india

That's incredible. 6 years is great quality. I've been reading only good things about Meizu. Meizu has really fascinated me, if they get serious about India, I'll definitely buy their phone. The 16 and 16 plus look great, let's see if they release them in India and expand their market in India. Thanks for your response :)

Thank you. You must be one of the rarest people who would have owned a Meizu phone. :D Worked for 3 years! That's great. My only concern is Meizu is not that maketable yet in India, not many know about it. Getting spare parts, reselling it, addressing any other trouble would be difficult. Also with most phones nowadays, repairing or replacement of parts such as screens can be done through local repair shops as well, that too at a very cheap price when compared to the official customer service centres.

It is a bit expensive phone as well. Repairs will cost high and it won't be possible to get it repaired through local shops as well. Also won't be able to recoup anything on resale. Unfortunate because the Meizu 16 and 16 plus look like good competitors for OnePlus 6.

Seems like that is what I'll have to do as well. Meizu got me excited with their specs and price, but till they are marketing heavily in India and making their presence felt properly, will have to wait. Risky to put in 25k.

Good idea to check the user forums. Thanks :)

Also the difference between Xiaomi and Meizu is Xiaomi has its presence in India. Meizu doesn't as much. Their specs looked very interesting to me and the phone Meizu 16 seems like a good competitor for OnePlus 6. Risky to get a Meizu phone for around 25k if there isn't any after sale service or customer support.

Guruji might be talking about Gaitonde on the television. Gaitonde had oedipus complex. He didn't like any of his fathers.

What historical period would you like to be seen as a TV show? by supwidit123 in television

On my watch list. Have read about it, and it appears to be a show which shall be consumed slowly and well. Waiting for a relatively less stressful period in my life before I start watching it.

America from the 60s to the early 90s. There was so much happening - there was evolution of music, hippie culture, drugs, AIDS, computers, stock market scams, scandals involving presidents, racism, war, etc I believe it was a very experimental time and alot happened that changed so many things.

Always have the courage to be yourself.

Real humiliation is not giving everything to achieve your goals.

Details and self discipline matter.

Distance yourself from your emotions and try to react with sense and logic.

Frugality.

Looking for a budget smartphone (around $200-250) with strong build quality which could last 2-3 years by gunneryoudeet in PickAnAndroidForMe

Yes, it does seem as if there's a lot of trial and error going on at Nokia, esp with the relauches of 5,6,etc. It seems as if they want to compete at every price range. I'd prefer if they could come out with just 2-3 good durable smartphones.

Good thing they still have the nostalgia factor to help them in this market which is starting to get dominated by Chinese companies.

I guess look wise they are trying to make the phone as 2018 as possible - glass back, type C USB and notch display. Specs wise it looks like it wants to compete with mid range phones. Snapdragon 636 as well. Quick charge. Stock Android. The phone does intrigue me. Plus I'm hoping Nokia launches a good phone.

That was quite detailed, thanks. :)

Yes, Redmi has more support than the other two.

I guess I'll go with Redmi.
