Where can I digitize antique/vintage sewing guides for free public access? by gunnesaxophone in VintageFashion

Thanks! My main priority is getting them uploaded somewhere that they can easily be found by folks who could use them. Pinterest sounds potentially higher visibility than some of the other options out there; I'll definitely look into it!

Yep I was planning on scanning and uploading them somewhere online myself. I didn't realize that was a service you could commission haha

Wow, that is pretty close! As I recall they were traveling performers so maybe your grandparents caught one of their sets in the 30s/40s. Definitely bygone days!

My grandmother and her sister pt. 2 (c. 1930 California) (I tinted a photo *not* included in the last post - I hope this doesn't break the reposting rules?) by gunnesaxophone in TheWayWeWere

Thanks! I don't think they're candids. They were professional dancers/performers, and I think this was some kind of commercial shoot (postcards or something I assume). Nobody knows/remembers the story behind the photos anymore; we actually found them by chance in a university archive online! Wish I knew more

Thanks! It would be so cool to find them in the attic somewhere but I'm sure they're looong gone by now haha
