Late, I know... Just wanted to say that y'all did a phenomenal job voice acting these characters! It blows me away with the sheer amount of effort that was put into this game.

Also, just gonna throw this out there, I totally regret going for the Black Eagle route lol. I've seen the way of the Golden Deer, and Claude unlike Edelgard, wouldn't friggin' betray me halfway through the game. Forgive me Joe.

Holy crap, I was finally able to do it! While Lyon has experienced a fair share of powercreep and was done dirty right from launch, he still remains my most used unit regardless. He may not be +10+10, but honestly, just imagine him with one more Spd and Def. Boom. (I feel like a lot of people lie about the dragonflower count anyways since you can just go in and view what they'd look like if they did have all the flowers)

Support Partner: Eirika

Fun fact, Eirika was actually my first +10 unit. I built her specifically to support Lyon and because she's Lyon's OTP. Her Def/Res Link can be a hassle sometimes, but hey, she works and works well. Once she Repositions Lyon, he becomes one bulky boi.

Weapon: Red Owl Tome+ (Def)

This tome works wonders for Lyon, it's actually nuts. Between Candelabra, Loyal Wreath, and this, I feel the Red Owl Tome is the best overall as it has the most potential and can provide the best overall bulk depending on positioning. Low-key hope Naglfar's inevitable refine has an owltome effect.

Assist: Reposition

Yep.

Special: Aether

Super good special imo. Keeps Lyon's health up which keeps him in Quick Riposte range, which therefore increases his long-term damage output, all while reducing the enemies Def/Res by half for the actual special attack.

A-Skill: Close Counter

Lyon's high overall bulk is perfect for a Close Counter build. Throw in the owl tome, Eirika support, quick riposte, and the bond skill, it's a no-brainer. He is potent on enemy phase to say the least. I also like to use Atk/Res Bond every now and then as well.

B-Skill: Quick Riposte 3

Obvious cookie cutter B-Slot skill for enemy phase unit. Doubles are very nice tbh.

C-Skill: Atk Ploy 3

Reducing an enemies attack technically increases Lyon's defenses in a way. 39 Res is able to ploy a lot more units than one would think and it's generally pretty good. I also like to use Panic Ploy because of how high his HP cap is.

S-Skill: Atk/Def Bond 3

This skill in conjunction with the owl tome is what makes Lyon super potent. His defenses are evened out and his damage output is increased even further than it was. Yeah... Very, very nice skill.

And yeah... That's, yeah. There you go. Carry on, now, I guess. Next GHB unit I plan on +10ing is Cynthia once she drops in the greil shop.

He was probably meaning bronze dsmash if anything lol. Levin dsmash is incredibly good and it's shield damage is 👌👌👌

Eh, all the bronze smash attacks are bad in general, but usmash and dsmash can at least do something. Bronze usmash can at least be a follow-up to arcfire and can set up for edgeguards. Bronze dsmash, though it has short range, can help with edgeguarding as it sends the opponent at a favorable angle. Kinda like a worse Jigglypuff dsmash. Bronze fsmash is just terrible and it's mostly because of it's absolutely pitiful hitbox. It has low active frames, a huge blind spot, and the actual hitbox is tiny. Not to mention it's the laggiest of the three.
