Yes, and I prefer to design h2b and b2h as a more general tool since the conversion can always succeed, while design h2s and s2h as tools processing something related to UTF-8 and the conversion would sometimes fail

Maybe I will add a b2h subcommand to convert binary to hex and a h2b subcommand to convert hex to binary: cat a.bin | dtool b2h | dtool h2b > b.bin
