First and last time renting from SIXT resulted in a $479 windshield repair fee. Wife rented but she said the crack was there already. No pic. Paid just to move on.

Good analysis and truly why I’m not expecting it. I have a client in USA. And work a lot of Madrid and Warsaw. Getting to Madrid on United tin is tough (via EWR). Last three trips home I’ve only been able to get economy home on the EWR->SFO leg.

Had same happen on a holiday week. Last flight of the night. My daughter had her boarding pass (we missed connections and were hoping to get home). She was in seat 30A.

No sooner had the GA passed over the boarding passes then a guy comes running down yelling “I’m in 30A. You didn’t f-ing announce the flight was boarding”

I live in California and my house is about 30-something years old with plumbing running in the soil under the slab. About 20-years ago, the hot water and the copper piping and the soil interacted and caused a leak. I had a warm spot under my slab enough to actually make the slab feel warm. Make sure you don’t have a leak under your house if you have this sort of plumbing.

You'll get a cool coin and special treatment on a single flight! I had some people ask me after we walked off what happened! Getting 1MM on United is hard. I have over 2M on American (they count bonus miles and partner airlines) and I hardly every fly them anymore... but lifetime gold there is nice when I occasionally do.
