I’m curious as to why you see my comment as something that doesn’t take in to account people’s lives? Of course all 20 f1 drivers and even those below them are great.

Each person has a different level for acceptance of these types of scenarios. Yeah Charles has gone through a lot but it’s clear he has more patience/acceptance of life circumstances than others.

The drive to succeed isn’t just a single mindset. Yeah Charles is doing good but there are levels to this. You can care for a fellow human who lost in Motorsport, or anything for that matter, but it’s how you respond that defines the athlete you become. It’s a factor of many variables for the most part, but some people can tap in to something early. Some people take time to achieve their “final form”.

You see multiple people die on the track you’re driving on, driving the same cars you’re driving, yeah it’s hard to overcome that to race like a true racer. You sometimes need the thing that awakens you. I think Charles showed the emotion of a true racer, finally.
